Love this video!  Those things look like fun to drive.  How fast can they go?  And I'd need a very long pole to get some of those over-the-cliff-edge shots.  You won't get me standing near those insubstantial looking fences. 😵‍💫

Twangster looked over at me at one point and said we just hit 80kmh! I figured it was fast as in the back seat my cheeks were flapping around like dog with it’s head out the window!

The Twizy was an amazing experience and we were very fortunate the weather cleared up as much as it did.  This was booked directly with a local tour company.

Here is some video from my 360 camera of the Twizy tour and subsequent walk along the river.

Geiranger is beautiful with a lot to do and see.

Hey twangster, this an AMAZING video.

I’ve said it many times on this forum and I’ll say it again… you are by far the best photographer/videographer/poster on this forum. Thank you for sharing the car with me. I would be grateful to get a dropbox

link after the cruise (or whatever media you use) so that I can have all these memories.👍👍👍👍👍

  3. Awesome photos twangster. I went to 5pm

trivia whereby I failed miserably even with biker’s help!

I went to Chops right when they opened… with no lunch I was getting hangry, I worked hard for that 9oz filet! Great dinner tonight, everything was perfect. And I was done and out of there just as we were sailing away. I was out on the helipad for most of it.

  4. Hey twangster… I didn’t go into the Nordic Center at all. I quickly looked in several rooms and decided that I would spend a total Of 60 seconds in there … a total waste compared to the amazing views and scenery we have today… and the weather!!!!!

I always like a challenge, so I opted for the 2km hike up to the Flydalsjuvet viewpoint, the same one we stopped at twice this morning. It’s a great workout, not viable for the mobile impaired or if not at least a little athletic

  5. Windjammer dinner…

As expected most of the MDR “French Night” offerings were available in the WJ incl. chicken Cordon blu, ratatouille, stuffed red peppers, grilled crusted salmon w/lemon sauce, mixed grilled veggies, etc. The deserts were back to the more boring looking type (ie. gelatinous “blah” that are normal, no Chops deserts tonight) however the awesome crepes made up for that in a big way.

Another much better than average dinner in the WJ tonight. More applause from me.

  6. Ok…. Let’s talk Windjammer….

On my plate right now are taster sized Chicken Parm & gnocchi w/spinach & garlic (yes, you can actually taste the garlic).. both of these could easily be served in Giovanni’s. I also have lemongrass rice, lamb Kofta w/excellent tzatziki, tomato & mozza salad, and a spicy beef dish that is actually spicy!

Last night they actually had the real Royal cheesecake and the Red Velvet cake (equal to Chops).

All of the above super good!!!
I have been critical of RC food for years, but I have to applaud Jewel so far. I think this also adds to my theory that foods sourced in Europe sailings are far superior than the lower quality product sourced in North America.

I’m sitting bottom left row 4 closest to where Bern was standing. If you’ve got a sec find me on the way out.👍

Do you know how long they will be onboard?  Thank you

Same question.  Do you know how long they will be onboard, or is it only for this cruise?  Thank you

No clue. If I get a chance to say hi to him again I'll ask and report back here
