I know I've seen on the boards that kids have stayed in a separate stateroom than the parents. However, when I call to book two staterooms on the Epic today, I was told that I would have to stay in the same room as my kids.
My kids will be 16 and 12 at the time of sailing. Can anyone verify that this has been done in the past?
THANKS!!

Thanks for the best review ever Don. I don't sail on the Epic for another 11 days but I feel like I've already cruised her!! I now have that depressed feeling that i have at the end of all my other cruises. :D

:D Any other good tips or secrets? This is my 10th cruise and first time on NCL. How is the gay scene? How is the spa?
Leaving Miami March 5 for the Western Caribbean. Anyone else (gay) on my sailing?
I was wondering the same thing about the gay scene. I don't know about NCL but I know a lot of other ships the Friends of Dorothy meetings, either nobody shows up or they're inconvenient. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
BTW - This thread has got to be the most useful thread I've seen on cruise critic. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Hey Everyone - Gay single father here. 15yo daughter and 10yo son. We have been cruising every year with the kids mother. Always turns out to be a great trip. I would love to meet other gay men/women on the straight cruises. Nonetheless, a good time is still had by all. :-) I think next up will be the Enchantment of the Seas out of Baltimore next June.

Carnival and RCCL allowed it as long as I was in a connecting stateroom or one nearby. I'm new to NCL, so it may be that they have different rules than I'm use to, which is fine.
