  3. Hi... First timer on Costa Pacifica (and first time roaming in this Forum).

Can someone please tell me where to find samples of the MDR Menus, and the Kids Menus?

    Thanks in advance.

  4. Hi. Can you please tell me how to get from Venice port to Treviso airport? Thanks in advance.

We are also trying to decide which ship to sail on from Venice... Musica, Opera or Magnifica. Any ideas? The ports of call are all interesting..so no problem there. Basically what we re mostly interested in is activities to keep our teenager occupied.

You can't purchase a 'soda card' on MSC ships - only a non-alcoholic drinks package which costs $29 pppd (plus 15% if purchased onboard):

I hope you are wrong as I m still in the dark what there is written in my ticket means "8951-BKALCH-THIRST". I had booked 2 soda packages and 1 water package from their website (since we dont drink alcohol)...but on our tickets there is written the above...I asked my Travel Agent what they meant but they did not know. They then contacted MSC, but they never received an answer from them. Do you think it is possible to cancel these drink packages please?

  6. Thanks for agreeing on answering questions on Seaview. There are not a lot of reviews on it yet. We will sail on it next month.

Can someone post a kids' menu from the Seaview please? Or perhaps you remember what was on it? My daughter simply loves mac n cheese.

Were the slide and zipline open on port days?

Which is the best place to be to watch sail in?

Which ports are tender ports? (Ajaccio, Cannes and Palma)

    Was the Fun pass available?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

CH is for CHILD  They obviously have a soft drinks package as they are not allowed alcohol

WP is for WATER PACKAGE, which is not available to all guests, eg UK, and is aimed at giving USA guests water at meal times.

Thanks..that clarifies things... I had thought the "ALCH" in  BKALCH stood for something alcoholic 😛

This is only a guess, but I wonder if it is confirming that you get water with your meals.....not every type of booking does.

I really dont think so, we are Europeans who will be sailing in the Mediterranean and I dont think we have that privilege 😞

Ah okay in your paperwork under beverage package there should be a code which begins with a number then 2 letters then 3 numbers

so for ours on the Seaside in the states it is 534NS179 yours should show something like that with the 534 part changed to what your package is and that number will be on your cruise cards

I really cannot find this code anywhere on the ticket, I only have the following:

  10. Hi again,

Can someone please tell what the following codes mean? We have booked 2 soft drinks packages and 1 water package..cause we do not drink alcohol and we are only interested in water and soft drinks. We are not interested in any other beverage packages. Are these their codes please? Thanks in advance.

  11. I dont know of any complimentary baggage storage facility at the Barcelona cruise terminal. Perhaps someone else knows otherwise. But....

Although there are no self storage lockers for bags and luggage at the Barcelona cruise terminals there is a company called Bags&Go who also have an office at the Barcelona cruise port that can deal with your luggage storage and bag transfer requirements. This means you can drop off all your luggage and bags at the port with Bags&Go and go sightseeing right away. Your bags will then be transferred to your chosen destination and securely stored until you pick them up. This saves you time and inconvenience lugging around your bags or trying to find a storage location.

The price for the Premium service is 12 euro per bag, provided that the booking is made from the website. If done at the desk, the price is 15 euro per bag.

  12. Thanks for the prices and pictures...Very much appreciated. We will surely buy the Seaview model when we re onboard in July... Unfortunately we did not buy the model of the MSC Splendida when we cruised on it some 8 years ago. Only lately we have decided to collect them. Wonder if there is on online shop or something where we can get it.

The answer is yes. They sell beautiful and quite detailed models in the MSC logo shop onboard. Se my photo of the MSC Seaview model, which is the sistership of the MSC Seaside.

    Have a great cruise 👍

Wow..Do you remember how much it costs please?

Cannes is a very walkable place. Unless you have mobility issues, it's a 10 minute walk around the harbour (Le Vieux Port) from one drop off point to another. As the train boarding point is so close to the Gare Maritime I'd figure a maximum 20 minute walk (at a very leisurely pace) if you end being dropped off at Quai du Large/Quai Laubeuf.

Thank you very much for your helpful answer. We dont have mobility issues, so it will be nice to go for a walk as well. 🤗

The Seaview is embarking in Cannes this year and Hlitner is correct it is from Quai du Large

We will be cruising on the Seaview in July and one of the ports to visit is indeed Cannes. Does the ship stop at Quai du Large , from Quai Laubeuf or the new Gare Maritime please? We would like to do a tour on the Petite Train and would like to know whether we can reach its starting point on foot from where the tender boats leaves us. Thanks in advance.

  16. Hi. I am Maltese. Valletta, Mdina and Rabat are all very fascinating places to visit, historically speaking (and not only!). Malta is full of history and there are many places of historical importance to visit (especially in Valletta, Mdina & Birgu). And I agree with 'plimouth pilgrims', and many other cruisers, that the sailing in our port is absolutely breathtaking. I never miss it when I cruise :classic_cool: :classic_rolleyes:
