Just got an email from my TA with the notification from Princess attached: “Please be advised that due to technical restrictions affecting our water shuttle operations, Sun Princess will no longer call to Kotor, Montenegro on Monday, May 27. Instead, we will now call to the historic town of Bar, Montenegro from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on that day.”

I'm also curious, does the time that first pax are allowed onboard change depending on departure time? My departure from Athens in May is listed as 7pm. Wondering if people will still be going onboard at/before noon or if that's pushed back due to later departure.

I think it's a no-brainer....~$1500 for 30 days? That's cheaper than most rent in my area! Plus maybe $600 or so for a one way flight down to Australia...not bad at all. Honestly! I'd say it's worth it. If you really miss seeing the ocean, the ship is big and there are plenty of spots to sit and relax, read, etc. Do it! And we can all live vicariously through you EDIT: I didn't take into account whatever the single supplement might be...so that price actually isn't accurate. Unless you find a friend to go with you!

Have there been any photos/videos yet of a Cove Balcony on the Sun? I’ve never had a balcony before (sailing end of May) and am wondering if it’s worth bidding to upgrade.

They didn’t show up for me until after the final payment deadline a couple of days ago (my travel agent deposited on the due date), so if you went through a TA and they haven’t deposited that yet maybe that’s why?

To everyone sailing tomorrow, have a great trip! Can't wait to see all of the photos and videos. But your priority is to enjoy every moment, we can (not so patiently, haha) wait! I think I'm most interested to see the difference in the views/setup for deck 6 vs deck 7 in the MDR. Just so I know what to book! I'm all about those window seats and great views.

Can confirm, just booked all of my main dining reservations for our May 25-June 1 sailing.

My first cruise was a 10 day Alaska RT on the Grand out of San Francisco. Sailing under the Golden Gate is something you'll never forget! I loved the Grand, but although it's been renovated, there were a few spots that just felt more dated. Didn't impact how great the trip was though! My vote is for SF.
