Something we always like to do is go to the steakhouse bar each night before dinner and drink a glass of wine at that bar and then take another glass with us to dinner in the main dining room. They have a better selection, one of our favorites last time was a French red wine, Jeantet Cotes Du Rhone and another was a Shiraz by the name of Yangarra....

We did the tour on the Conquest. It was very interesting, the highlights were what the last poster noted. It's something I would definitely do once but not something I would do again for the money and time involved (half day). If you do want to do it, book it the first day on the ship, it sells out fast!

That looks amazing! What bar did you get that at? The glass looks different than any I have seen!

If they buy FTTF will the system be smart enough to only add it to the balcony room? I'm guessing it will add to both rooms if they buy online?
The bookings are linked but just uncheck the suite when you go to buy FTTF and then you can just buy it for the balcony. I just had to do that with 5 cabins and all using a different credit card.

The Papa's Pilar rum distillery is worth a visit if only because of the gift shop. Fisherman's shirts, journals, totes, stickers, etc. Both logo and non.

More great information! Thank you so much and we will definitely check them out!

I love that bottle! Definitely doing some gift shopping there! Thank you!

Thank you everyone for the information! We are going in a couple of weeks and since it is not something you can order online once you get back, I was trying to get some gift ideas together before we go!

Has anyone been to the Key West Rum Distillery? Are there a lot of different flavors you can try/buy? Any idea on pricing/sizes you can purchase?

Has anyone had anything good on the new dessert menu? I'll miss the cheesecake and nothing on the new menu sounds that great....

Thank you for the review! We are going on the Breeze in August, second time on this ship but first time to these Eastern Caribbean ports!

I just joined AARP yesterday and I am not seeing any Carnival gift cards. Does anyone know if they are available now or is there a trick to finding them?

In Cozumel, don't let them go through the store that you walk through to get back to the ship alone. The sales people get a kick out of giving teenagers free samples of tequila! My niece and her friend got trashed before we knew what was going on and both were under age at the time!

Great Review! We will be going back on the Breeze in August, can't wait!

Transportation wise what is the best way to get to Gold Rock beach? Public or rental car? Are there facilities there?

I am interested in this as well. We are going for the first time to Freeport and this sounds perfect but (1) how best to get there with 10 people in our party and (2) are there facilities or food/drink available?

We did for our cruise last September and due to the hurricanes, we did not get to go to Nassau. They refunded our money back to my credit card right away with no issues. That to me says more about the company than anything!

Yes there is a fridge, yes the Serenity is still adult only. We were on the Freedom a month ago and the aft pool was also surprisingly adult only. I saw a carnival rep come tell a parent that the child could not be in this pool as it was adult only. One other thing about the cabin is that they were warm, bring a fan! Our companions that did not bring one were miserable at night.

We all ordered the ribeye a few weeks ago on the Freedom. It was one of the best steaks I have ever had!

Has anyone been able to successfully book day passes for Atlantis through their website? I have been checking the site however it does not load the page after you clink check out.
I have used on the on line chat to ask, however they only thing they say is to call, which I am trying to avoid doing.
Any idea of the day pass prices? We have booked one room at Atlantis, which gives us 4 passes to the waterparks, however we need 2 additional passes.
thanks
I had trouble last week as well so I went online through Bahamadaypass.com and bought our tickets. My understanding is that you pick these up at the same line you pick the direct buy ones at so I went ahead and bought them.

Never heard of it? What is it? Lived in AK for several years so curious.
It's basically layers of ice cream and cake covered in meringue and then baked. It's very good!

If you go down to the French Quarter for breakfast, you need to try the Beignets at Café Du Monde! They are awesome but fair warning there is usually a long line but it does go quickly!

Thank you for the awesome review!

You can buy tickets for any of the 3 HOHO for $19.99 per person from the Carnival excursions page. I think we are doing the City one, the Old Town looks like it goes way out of the way to hotels across town which I think would be a waste of time. If someone has been on the Old Town Trolley, please let me know if there are any sites across town that are interesting that we would be missing by taking the City Trolley.
Turquoise Bay All Inclusive Beach Tour
in Roatan

We have booked this excursion through Carnival for our upcoming cruise. I just looked and this is also the bubble tour (separate listing) to this beach through Carnival, has anyone done this excursion yet? Are the groups separated? I don't want to have to follow all of the rules for a bubble tour since our group is vaccinated. This is the only beach that is listed as a bubble tour for Roatan.
