  1. We have booked this excursion through Carnival for our upcoming cruise.   I just looked and this is also the bubble tour (separate listing) to this beach through Carnival, has anyone done this excursion yet?  Are the groups separated?  I don't want to have to follow all of the rules for a bubble tour since our group is vaccinated.   This is the only beach that is listed as a bubble tour for Roatan.

  2. Something we always like to do is go to the steakhouse bar each night before dinner and drink a glass of wine at that bar and then take another glass with us to dinner in the main dining room.  They have a better selection, one of our favorites last time was a French red wine, Jeantet Cotes Du Rhone and another was a Shiraz by the name of Yangarra....

  3. We did the tour on the Conquest.  It was very interesting, the highlights were what the last poster noted.   It's something I would definitely do once but not something I would do again for the money and time involved (half day).   If you do want to do it, book it the first day on the ship, it sells out fast!

  4. If they buy FTTF will the system be smart enough to only add it to the balcony room? I'm guessing it will add to both rooms if they buy online?

The bookings are linked but just uncheck the suite when you go to buy FTTF and then you can just buy it for the balcony. I just had to do that with 5 cabins and all using a different credit card.

  5. The Papa's Pilar rum distillery is worth a visit if only because of the gift shop. Fisherman's shirts, journals, totes, stickers, etc. Both logo and non.

More great information! Thank you so much and we will definitely check them out!

  6. Thank you everyone for the information! We are going in a couple of weeks and since it is not something you can order online once you get back, I was trying to get some gift ideas together before we go!

  7. Transportation wise what is the best way to get to Gold Rock beach? Public or rental car? Are there facilities there?

Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

I am interested in this as well. We are going for the first time to Freeport and this sounds perfect but (1) how best to get there with 10 people in our party and (2) are there facilities or food/drink available?

  8. Yes there is a fridge, yes the Serenity is still adult only. We were on the Freedom a month ago and the aft pool was also surprisingly adult only. I saw a carnival rep come tell a parent that the child could not be in this pool as it was adult only. One other thing about the cabin is that they were warm, bring a fan! Our companions that did not bring one were miserable at night.

  9. Has anyone been able to successfully book day passes for Atlantis through their website? I have been checking the site however it does not load the page after you clink check out.

I have used on the on line chat to ask, however they only thing they say is to call, which I am trying to avoid doing.

Any idea of the day pass prices? We have booked one room at Atlantis, which gives us 4 passes to the waterparks, however we need 2 additional passes.

    thanks

I had trouble last week as well so I went online through Bahamadaypass.com and bought our tickets. My understanding is that you pick these up at the same line you pick the direct buy ones at so I went ahead and bought them.

  10. You can buy tickets for any of the 3 HOHO for $19.99 per person from the Carnival excursions page. I think we are doing the City one, the Old Town looks like it goes way out of the way to hotels across town which I think would be a waste of time. If someone has been on the Old Town Trolley, please let me know if there are any sites across town that are interesting that we would be missing by taking the City Trolley.
