I'm not sure which auction house the Silhoutte on the recent TA used.

Not what I wanted to hear...they really were as the saying goes: "too green to burn".

Our kids bought a total of 12 pieces of artwork. They disembarked a couple of weeks ago. They were told that the purchase would take 10-12 weeks before delivery. Is there anyway to cancel all or some of these purchases? Or is this just a expensive lesson learned??

We have purchased the recent promo Explore 4 pkg. And do like yummy coffees like Celebrity serves (with and without alcohol). I have done a search on Koningsdam trying to find a menu for specialty coffees, but haven't had any luck. Does anyone have a menu to share???? And can someone enlighten me as to where we can get the coffees? Celebrity has their own coffee/dessert venue.

My husband looks terrific in his tux. I love it when he wears one. Which usually is only on cruises these days.

IF Holland cancelled our cruise, it would be our last booking with them. Currently we have a 24 day TA next October. I'm hoping that this would never occur on a TA

So, if your cruise gets cancelled and you already have air....what's the reimbursement? I suppose ZIP!

Book ASAP as the good connections go quick. One other thing to watch for. If you book a British Airways that connects via London get ready for steep taxes. If we would have used BA on the AA award our cost would have been over $1000. We were lucky to be able to use AA that connects in London/Rome and only had to pay a little over $40.

Has anyone used or have information about the use of a resort for a day while our ship is in Port? In particular Santorini??? Many times while in ports we've been in the resort will offer transfer pick up at the port to their facility with lunch sometimes. This seems like it would be a very relaxing day away from the crowds. We will be in Santorini next October.

First off let me say we're new to HAL. And not familiar with their site.

Our cruise is not until 10/2018. I can see the shore excursions offered in each port, but when I click to "book now" I get zip. Only Exc. tours come up. Am I doing something wrong? Plus I wanted to check the prices vs. the $$$$ listed for each excursion.

We've been on several Celebrity ships and have truly enjoyed the Solariums, does the Koningsdam have a similar venue?? I looked at the Retreat, but it isn't what I was hoping to find.

I checked our cruise dates....and fortunately all of the Ports we call in Greece are weekdays. Thanks all for the input. Now the long wait till next October.

Yes we could. However that's quite aways to tote to Rome.:)

So, it seems they do have toppers on the Koningsdam. However our TA conveyed that HAL said same as other posters mentioned "mattress are comfortable - no need for for toppers".

On past cruises we’ve always chosen the set traditional dining. But are rethinking this. We’re considering doing the As You Wish seating. My question is: if you are a couple, do they tend to sit you at a table for two? Or when you show up is there an option to be seated with others?? We like to get to know our fellow cruisers and thought that might be a terrific way.

As far as cruise ships in port. Same issues in the Caribbean.

We booked a TA for mid October of next year. I've seen many posts about how crowded Greece is. Just wondering what to expect??? Hoping that it's a little off season, and can be enjoyed.
