  1. I have also been on both ships. You are correct, the Sunrise is a significant improvement.
  2. We booked a cruise for March next year. There is no guarantee that we will not have problems, but I think it is a reasonable risk to take. Life will always have some risk, you just have assess what is acceptable.
  3. The Sunrise did have a significant renovation after the incident that you are referring to.
  4. You should pay the final balance and let Carnival cancel, if necessary. That way you will get a much better deal.
  5. Sunrise is a very nice ship. You should consider that an upgrade 🙂
  6. Yup, but I don't think we will see significant upside potential until they announce a successful vaccine. Hopefully that will come by the end of this year.
  7. Yup, hopefully by early next year they will be able to start distribution. Until then, it will be more about managing risk.
  8. Yup, I think everyone is getting tired of the negativity.
  9. Yup, the whole industry is now set for an October start. This may provide a little more consistency throughout the industry.
  10. It will take some time for RCL to fully recover after a vaccine is announced, but the stock market is forward looking and will anticipate that recovery.
  11. RCL, along with all the cruise stocks, is a bet on a successful vaccine. All the cruise lines have been hit the hardest and will probably appreciate the most when they announce a vaccine.
  12. I would be okay with occasional use of the mask, but not all the time. Most of the time I will be eating, drinking or snorkeling, so I probably won't be wearing a mask much anyways.
