  1. I ask the room steward to get a coffee maker for the cabin. I use it only for hot water!
  2. Not a shill for these guys (although if they want to send me free product, I'll take it). But, I despise the "urn" coffee on any cruise ship, NCL included. Plus, having to leave my cabin just to get a decent cup of coffee when I get up defeats the purpose of my total laziness when I'm on a cruise. And, we can't have that now, can we? I used to bring those Starbucks instant packets with me on my cruises. They're good for what they are, and certainly way better than the urn coffee. But, I still need cream and sugar to get that to where I want it. So, last cruise, I took these based on another lazy cruiser's recommendation (seems to be a theme developing)......... https://maxpressocoffee.com/what-is-maxpresso It's an all-in-one type of coffee packet. But, it's hella better than urn coffee and would say it's even better than the Starbucks stuff (cheaper too). Highly recommended.
  3. I saw dancing in Syd Norman's and Cavern Club. Saw some dancing to the bands by the pool. Don't recall any of the other venues offering dancing.
  4. Yes….they won’t care. No one is limited how many times they can see any show!
  5. I must be thinking of another airport. I’ve sailed out of SEA, Vancouver, NYC, MIA, and FLL on my recent cruises. One of them had a long stand about ½ mile from baggage claim for Uber/Lyft. And, once I found the driver, there was an added fee because he had to wait 10 minutes for me to find him.
  6. Good question. If it's where I think it is, WiFi probably isn't available. But, I don't use free public WiFi, ever. Too many "snipers" out there. Since you're coming from Ireland, I'd probably pre-arrange transport.
  7. Trying to remember where the UBER stand is at SEATAC. Isn't that the stand that's hidden about ½ mile away? Or, am I thinking VanCouver?
  8. So, got a BoA NCL MASTERCARD for no other reason than to take advantage of the $200 OBC for new card holders. Charged the cruise fare to it, and am getting ready to pay for it before interest charges start. Problem is, the $200 OBC hasn't shown up in my on board check in account. Call to BoA, and after a 20 minute wait, was informed I needed to talk to NCL. Talked to NCL, who says to talk to BoA. Call BoA again and get new card sign up, who says I need to talk to customer service. Another 20 minute hold time, only to hear I need to talk to NCL. This is a cluster. Think I'll pay it off and cancel it immediately. Moral of the story, don't apply for and try to use the NCL BoA card and expect them to adhere to the $200 of OBC they promise. At the very least, I'll cause them to churn out some paperwork to cancel for my troubles.
  9. I haven't tried this shuttle, but it was recommended to me. https://seattleexpress.com/cruise-ship-transfers/ Kind of depends on where UBER parking area is in relation to the airport. I've been in some airports where the UBER pick up area is literally a ½ mile from baggage claim. Plus, if you're anywhere close to being a few minutes late in finding them, they are like Taxis.....the added "fees" start piling up, and they aren't nearly as cost effective as they once were.
  10. Taxi should be doable. Thinking the front desk of the hotel should be able to help.
  11. Given I've sailed out of Seattle previously, transport to the pier has been dicey, at best. I've used NCL's transport, which is reliable, but SLOW! Have tried some of the SEATAC to Pier shuttles. One made me wait an hour and a half before departure. The other didn't even show up to pick me up from the airport until I got tired of waiting and grabbed an UBER. As an aside, I was already on the ship having my first cocktail when the driver showed up at the AIRPORT 3 hours after my scheduled pick up time. So, at best, transport is dicey. May have to go the UBER route, again.
  12. As I had hoped, the Meet and Greet picked up over the last week. Right now, we’re at 30+ attendees. Should be a good group. Looking forward to it!!!!!!
  13. Thanks @laudergayle. You have a good memory. Unfortunately, this guy went over the Rainbow Bridge. Miss him dearly!
  14. And, I'm asking why it matters? Looking for financial advice? In cruise forums? There's your first mistake.

  19. Thanks @Broons77. Appreciate the review and especially the pics. I’m due for a other Bermuda cruise and have made up my mind, I want to sail the Prima to do it. Regarding the Atlantic…..overall…it will never be as smooth and sailing the Caribbean/Bahamas out of Florida in my experience. But, these ships are stable. I’ve been through some pretty horrendous storms (the infamous sailing of the Breakaway through a bomb Cyclone). Aside from some tossing and turning, and some plates on the floor, the ship came through it with flying colors. Sailing in the Spring and Fall in the Atlantic exacerbates the issue. But, those are normally the times to book for the cheapest fares on those sailings out of NYC! Knowing what to expect helps.
  20. Remind me again why it matter what others spend for a cruise?
  21. My current iPhone is the exception. Ordinarily I get previous iPhone gens from Apple’s refurb site. But agree, they can get pricey if you don’t have a trade in. Trade values on iPhones is quite good!
  22. If I remember, of course! They used to dock near the area. Not sure they still are. I don’t know how close we’ll be to that area!
