there is an "elegant" night on EVERY cruise
-
Holiday inn port of Miami Bayside market right across from the hotel or the intercontinental is also very good
have stayed at both and enjoyed our stays....will be back to holiday inn for our September cruise; mcdonald's up the street and two "drugstores" within walking distance
-
have "done" Disney parks on each side of the country, have done AI, and I still prefer to cruise....love the décor, plenty of food choices and always something to do....kids enjoyed it to, love the ecstasy....you didn't like it, ok, buh-bye...

They used to do a very nice 8 day itinerary going to the canal and Costa Rica but for some reason do it very infrequently these days.
we did this one, belize, costa rica, panama...it was our absolute favorite and I would love to do it again!
to the op...did you ask carnival?
-
seriously? smh
-
as I rarely just cruising, but spending time in other places, I usually have a larger suitcase as well as my carry-on...I don't do laundry on vacation and I refuse to re-wear worn clothes, ugh, nasty
-
this is why we don't like cruising from port Canaveral and will never cruise from galveston
-
we tried one once and never again; there are probably still some around here somewhere...we DO NOT miss them

If you'd like to see countries and have no one's pesky death hamper your vacation paid for with money saved over many years then go to EPCOT.
Start in the World Showcase and work your way around. Go counter-clockwise to avoid the crowds.
Sheesh...
Totally Agree! The selfishness and self-centeredness of some people is simply appalling....and the begging for more! READ the contract before you sail, and get down on your knees and be thankful that all your party was intact!
-
down the street from bayside and the holiday inn, near the community college is a mcdonalds...we usually have breakfast there on embarkation day
-
all I expect from carnival is a great cruise, I am not demanding or expecting or begging for anything more...and "perk" is greatly appreciated and not complained about
-
I have never assumed that any casino - on land or sea- was 'fair.' Their objective is to make money by making your part with yours!
EXACTLY!!!!! I don't expect to win more than a few and then play it all back, on land or on sea...maybe some people don't exactly understand the whole idea of "gaming"....
-
I think it's a great idea and might have to take a couple on my next cruise!! :D I'd just be afraid that the Cabin Steward(ess) might not know and/or understand what they are and since candles aren't allowed, he/she might confiscate them. I mean, they're from countries that aren't Canada (where I'm from) or the USA so may never have seen or heard of flameless/battery operated candles before. Just a thought.
they are not stupid and I am sure they have seen whatever you chose tobring....a flameless candle or tea light does not remotely resemble a real candle....certainly does not feel like one

105, I think...

panama coast to coast by bus....most wonderful ever; totally cultural and historical...just enough canal at gatun lock; old city and archeological excavation of skeletons with total respect; lunch in new city...I want to do this again some day;...also totally enjoyed altun ha/rio Wallace in beliza...ruins you could climb and manatee...wow

roasted pumpkin, hands down! followed by the funghi!

contrary to what one poster says, red lobster restaurants are not widely available, nor is lobster "dirt cheap" for those of us who DO NOT live on a coastline...thus we are happy to see it on a cruise menu and eat as much of the sweet meat as we can when we can...I don't have a problem paying the "upcharge" or buying it frozen at aldi's at home....I like lobster any way and whenever I can get it! I would like to try a lobster roll, but until I am able to go to the east coast, it ain't happening. posters need to remember that their experience and environment is specific to them and not to most of the country!

The statement was based on their assistant getting a portion of the $3.90.
$2.50 per person based on two per cabin.
Times 24 cabins. Sometimes more cabins sometimes less.
Times 30 days.
$3600.00 per month.
OMG people...tell me, how many of you have such open conversations about your salaries? The "tip" is shared by the steward with his/her team which may include 2-3 assistants.

nope, don't need it

Where was the Muster Drill at.....and how long was it...My wife has knee problems and can't stand to long....I have been on some where the drill was in the theatre where you sit down.
Ask the crew for assistance if she cannot stand long. My Mom is 90 and they were very helpful with getting her a seat for the muster drill. She was able to take the elevator, also.

am I reading this wrong? doesn't there have to be a legal adult (25+) booked into a cabin with minor children?
