I can confirm, just off the Royal. Two happy hours a day, BOGO $1, and platinum/ Elite lounge was $650 for about 6 different drinks.

Is the sanctuary used much during the sea days on a transatlantic? We are on the Regal on 9/9 to 9/23 from Copenhagen to NY Trying to determine if we need to go up a book the sanctuary when we get on in Copenhagen. Not sure it will be worth it , with the cooler weather that is possible. Plus we are in B734 an aft suite, so it might just be better to sit in our deck

The one time I got an upgrade was the one time I booked a guarantee; I was assigned a MF mini suite, the lowest category on Royal Princess but a couple of months before sailing was upgraded to a MA, the highest. Oddly enough, a couple of weeks before sailing I received an upsell offer to an aft Owner's suite which unfortunately I took--but that's another story.

I use the cruise consultant Princess assigned to me..she is great 🍸🍸. But I complete most of the research myself but she gets me better prices vs the princess web site.

We sailed on the Island in Alaska, overall I liked the ship EXCEPT for the gym. They moved it from a top deck with great views like on other ships, to a inside room with NO windows and it is VERY small. For that reason, we will not sail on the island again.

I have an AMEX blue card, all I did to get the offer is make a 500 payment to princess. 1 day after I received the credit

Did you have to surrender your passport at embarkation ? If so, did you not need them for walking around in ports ? We are doing a transatlantic in a few weeks and just want to understand the processes.

Our first European cruise will be in a few short weeks , it will be a transatlantic with Princess. It will be on the regal from Copenhagen to NYC. We stop in several ports prior to crossing. I have read that I will need to surrender my passport at embarkation. Do I not need it to walk around in the ports ? Last time we were in France, which was shortly after an terrorist event, we were told to always carry our passports. Can someone confirm that with princess I will have to surrender my passport and embarkation. Thank you

Thank you for your review - We will be in Belfast in September on the Regal and I am glad to hear there is a free shuttle bus into town .

I always book with my princess vacation planner. She provides discounts that are not published and is always there for questions, problems , etc. Plus if the price drops, I just call her and get a refund. I booked a guarantee MF on a transatlantic cruise, the price has dropped SEVERAL times - and every time, I just call my person, she refunds my card, no questions...

Plus she adds us to lists for upgrades and offers, we took an upsell offer for a suite in Alaska and it was totally worth it ..

Looking for some advice - We want to do a Panama Canal cruise from the west coast to the east coast - but my husband wants to go through the 'old' lock - any advice on which line still goes through the old lock and which has the best itinerary?

If I preorder the soda package on Princess , will the cup they provide be waiting in my cabin ? Or should I just wait till I get on board to do it ?

UPDATE: Wrote an email to the president of Viking and their customer service desk - and got the payment date changed !!!

I have tried to get the payment date extended but cannot!!! This is nuts. Already a negative experience with Viking and we have not taken the cruise yet.....I am going to write to the President of Viking.....

We are booked on the Grand European river cruise on Viking in June 2018 leaveing Budapest and going to Amsterdam. It is a 15 day cruise. I looked at our confirmation yesterday and found out I have to make my final payment by June 30th 2017 A year in advance. I have called the Viking travel agent representative I booked it through but no call back yet. Have others had to pay a year in advance? They have use of my money for a year - Am I crazy - That is NUTS

Any ideas on how to get the date moved ? I want to go on the cruise and do not want to loose my deposit

I always go through my princess planner for my bookings - she is my person. I do not use a travel agent. I did not loose my OBC or my air discounts because my air is also booked through princess, I just got the refund .. Maybe because I deal with princess directly ?

I had already made the final payment - so I got the new fair and an actual credit to my AMEX card!!:)

We had previously book a guarantee MF category for the transatlantic leaving Copenhagen 9/9/2017. I was looking at our cruise and noticed a sale on it , so I called my cruise consultant. Guess What - Price dropped over 2900.00 - and yes I got a refund!!!!

I always look at sales and make sure I am getting the best price. Just information for anyone who might be on the cruise with us

we used it getting off the equinox in December. Make sure you have the card...look for the global entry sign. sgow you card and go...it was quick and easy

We are on the equnoix in November...aqua class 1606...does anyone know if aqua class still gets sparkling wine in the cabin at embarkation??

I have been reviewing the packages available for purchase prior to the cruise, I cannot find a wine package. Does anyone know if I have to wait until we get on ?
