I always like to have confirmations for everything I order so I would suggest you do a screen print of the redemption history that Barclay's mentions and take it with you. Just as an fyi, you get a better redemption value using your points for statement credit versus OBC.

I think the reason there are no trashcans around is because they actually have to sort the trash. For example separate food from paper and plastic etc. They instead have the crew bus the tables and pick up dishes etc. so that it's all sorted correctly and then it's either incinerated (paper), reclycled, and the food is ground up into fish food. Even in your cabin the steward has to sort the trash when they clean your room.

Are you sure it's OBC? Because many of the casino offers may include a limited amount of OBC but the majority is usually free play.

I'm pretty sure that once the refund was credited to your S&S account which created a credit to that account that Carnival will mail you a check and your Visa account will have no bearing on the refund so your dispute on the credit card will be a waste of time. You should instead be waiting on the mail for a refund check from Carnival. JMHO

For the milestone credit it's 25 % OBC based on the cruise fare before taxes and port fees. Also you mention $500 OBC from the casino. Usually the casino cash is for free play either slots or chips not OBC to use anywhere on the ship.

The only time I wear a watch is when I'm on a cruise. I always set it to ship's time and be sure to wear it when on the ship or in port. That's the easiest way for me and even though I use the hub app on my phone when I'm on the ship I still wear my watch and don't bother checking the time on my phone.
