Anyone know when the Fantasy will be in Miami?

When does the Fantasy make Miami home port?

Until the recent UBP included, have never cruised (60 some) where my cruise fare was more than my on board charges. Meaning we spend more on board than for the cruise fare.

I have also rebooked the 1/25/16 sailing, same cabin etc.

do we know how long it will be in dry dock??

Asked the TA and she never got an answer from NCL. Will call Mon.

A TA is giving a 50% discount?? I would love to look at that one!

Go to NCL online and they are still showing $539 pp 4 nite SKY 1/11/16. We paid online TA $249pp with $25 OBC. Have been cruising since 1978 and have seen crazier things then this. The rates quoted do not includes taxes, etc.

Darn, booked this thru an Online TA. Now have to deal with them. Always book with NCL direct but TA rate was 1/2 of NCL.

Really like the inside's on the Verandah deck. Close to everything. Not very many so need to book early.

Is the Pajama Jam breakfast on every ship? We are doing the Epic in August and upon first look at dailies I don't see it listed on there?

For the UDP, the price went from $119 wk to $140, the reason being built in gratuities. Yet, when the bill came, Le Bistro was $30, not $29.99 as I had read and then a 18% gratuity on top, but the 18% was not listed on your bill. So, it just looked like you paid $30 and then, daily, they minus it out with UDP, so your weekly total is $140pp. Like you said, I rarely tip more than 25% on land, but felt badly for the servers in the speciality restaurants cause they're so attentive. This was NOT true with the UBP. With drinks, it's as it has always been.... $12 drink plus 18% gratuity. Since it was listed, I never tipped more for drinks.

Due to UDP, I'm guessing, most drinks are $10-$11 except for beer. I ordered a $5.95 morning special Bloody Mary, and was charged 10.95$ and when I questioned it, he said, well you gave UDP so it doesn't matter. I don't know what that scam was about, but it certainly left a sour taste in my mouth. Oh, this was last week on the BA.

Bartender gets bigger tip at $10.95 than $5.95. Have seen it many times.

Had a great BT named Rob and asst blond European gal we called Miley (Cyrus). This about a year ago. Do u recall either being there? Thanks Stormy

Just booked a 3 day Sky and noted the UBP was $59 pd + tip. Is the UBP still $54 pd on longer cruises?

Not certain how common the name Dragana is but there was a Dragana working in the bars on Ruby Princess on our trip around South America January 31 to March 21. I am not certain if she was on the ship for that entire cruise but I believe she was.

 

Quite thin, average height and long blond hair. A very nice girl.

Hurricanes have nothing to do with it. When did you hear of a hurricane in the summer ? They don't start till Sept thru the end of Nov.

I must be sailing on the "wrong" Princess ships because I have never been served milk and cookies while watching MUTS or at any time sitting around the pool deck.

While at a bar on the lido deck, server with a cart of cookies, milk and coffee came by in the afternoon. On a cool day, hot chocolate was served at a lido deck bar. This was on the Ruby last Nov. Very impressive. Stormy

Been on 20 some NCL cruises and liked very much. Recently did first Princess on the Ruby. WOW what we have missed all these years. Try Princess, you will love it. Stormy

Took me about 2 mons to get a $200 deposit back. Before then I had made up mind to never to sail MSC again.

OP, don't think u would get flamed if u posted this on any cruise line thread. Hard to get a good pina colada on any ship IMHO. Looks like a lot of posters agree with u, and we do as well.

Notice in almost every reveiw their are some negatives. Did a 7 day in Nov and the only way we would go back, if the cruise was free and they threw in the best drink pkg. Been on 70 somes cruises since 1978 and have never complained about a single one.

Maybe the owner collected on the insurance and the boat is still adrift.
