The cash thing, "sounds to good to be true". Anyone else ever receive cash from CCL, chime in.

First cruise on Sunward II fall of 1978. All the wait staff Korean and Jamaican. Best cruises ever.

We just went on a cruise last month and going again in September, both 3 days. We didn't see the cruise director. So what is there to do to interact with them?
TIA
I have the same question. Anyone please.

Agree with Mike.

was on a HAL cruise years back and there was a lady that was living on the ship, they even had her name on the door.
Meet a little lady living on Holland some years ago. Her name was Annie and she was about 4ft 9 inches tall. Front row at every show and always asleep. She was a delight.

I leave Saturday and I've given up trying. Can you buy vouchers once on the ship???
Refer to past responses.

All the major online TA as well as NCL direct. Rates starting to go up. 2 days ago SKY and Majesty of the Seas quoted $129 for May 5th. 4 days.
-
FWIW the Sky has been $109 for 4 days all spring. So thats all the savings. Not a good deal IMO.

Premier Parking made the news awhile back when the owner was filmed using a cruise customer's new Corvette for aweek. Think it was the FLL location.

Next time, try asking room service to prioritize and expedite your order for your Platinum status. You'll be amazed at how quickly it gets delivered.
For real???

i agree with the op completely. I will avoid at all costs cruising during summer break, christmas break and easter break. I have no problem with well behaved kids and feel they are welcome anywhere - as long as they are not acting like animals.
However, i have much more disdain for the parents of the misbehaving kids than the children themselves. There are billions of kids on the planet - your kid is not special, he or she is not entitled to special treatment, he or she is not as cute as you think, not as smart as you think, not as well behaved as you believe, and others don't think your spawn are god's gift to civilization. In fact, the more often you have to remind others of how special your kid is, the more likely they are ugly, stupid, and/or horribly behaved.

Bonnie, did u try the atrium bar and was the band very good. Also was Rod bartending there? Thanks, glad u enjoyed the Sky. We try to sail her 2 times a year. Live only 2 hrs from port.

Nope, not a lot of ego here, just 25 years of cruising experience. Most all of that experience is with NCL, which is why you do not find me posting about other lines. Also, I have almost 18 years of experience with Cruise Critic. I do not spend a lot of time "attacking" things before knowing all the facts and surrounding back drop information.
But, I am sure Mr. Unknown is happy you are here to defend his honor by taking pot shots at me in his stead. Yea, you!
Well i have 35 yrs of cruising and over 55 cruises. Big deal.

You mean the only people complaining were the people that actually missed the port? Not the peanut gallery whose vacation was not affected? Shocker! Pretty easy to pass judgement when it doesn't affect you.
I was not on the cruise and I certainly don't completely understand.
What don't u understand?

I applaud NCL for bypassing Roaton out of respect for the rest of the crew. See as an in kind act. JMO

Probably why I will never book the Owners Suite. Can't afford the tips.
-
Holy crap, those are some insane tips! $400 is like another person going on a cruise (we do inside).
FYI booking an OS these are normal tips. Now an IS (which is what I book) different story.

Not of big RCCL fan but there security doesn't tolerate much. Bunch of big Australian's.
One thing I am surprised that no one has pointed out is that if the OP contacts Carnival in a threatening manner (give me more or else), the family is very likely to end up on the banned list.
Read post #88, thanks.
Next cruise: Carnival Breeze June 2014
read post #88 -
Maybe CCL will ban the OP from any future cruises.
Were you satisfied with your "guarantee" room?

Booked an IS Gty on Freedom 9/1 and got a great inside room on deck 8. Balcony gty rate came within $90 pp of what we paid so upgraded to a balcony gty and within minutes was assigned 9257. Very pleased with that. Stormy
