  1. Sounds like the same entertainment we had on Coral. I'm not into jugglers, magicians and hypnotists. Are the comedians rubbish too? We had one good english comedian.
  2. I thought most ships only have 2 production shows which they repeat year after year. What were the guest artists on this cruise?
  3. I had them on Coral princess twice in August. I thought they were better than Royal caribbeans snails. No mushrooms in mine. Both times on 2nd formal night.
  4. All sounds good to me. I expect there will be more children than last august
  5. Looks festive enough for me. I will be on the grand for Christmas and new year. What do Princess usually do to celebrate?
  6. I have stayed in an inside cabin a few times on Mariner. They are the same size as a balcony cabin but without a balcony. They are much bigger than a Princess balcony cabin. I don't like balconies, I would take a free upgrade for the bigger window, but I wouldn't step out on it.
  7. All cruises booked in Australia are inclusive of tips, port charges and taxes. Princess reduces the princess plus to take that into account.
  8. I wore a mask for two weeks before my cruises in August. I wanted to make sure they would let me on the ship. I will do the same starting tomorrow, ready for my up coming cruises.
  9. Hope you test negative. I'm doing 32 days on Grand at christmas. Hoping to avoid the covid, happy to wear a mask like on Coral. Are the staff wearing masks?
  10. Thank you I will put my name down and hope for the best. Is there an Australian power point in the room like on Coral princess?
  11. I'm hoping someone on Grand princess can answer a couple of questions. Are they doing a chefs table on your cruise? If so, how much is it? Is the cruise director any good? Thank you and I hope you are having a great cruise.
  12. Are they testing every one on board during the cruise now? Or was this just a one off?
  13. Oh, no. I'm hoping on 32 nights straight soon on the grand Princess. I hope they all get on top of it soon. I don't mind wearing the masks
  14. I can still handle the long haul flights. My mum wont go long haul anymore. I wouldn't dream of cooking, cleaning or grocery shopping on a land based holiday either.
  15. I just love holidays. Cruising is super cheap when you compare to land holidays, food and drink and entertainment included. Okay, an expensive (over December and January ) airfare. Only drawback are the small rooms. I'm hoping to take nine weeks in england/europe in our winter, land based with a couple of cruises thrown in.
  16. I can picture her face if you did. We just use the Princess cruises rep, I prefer to do it all on the phone, much easier.
  17. Waitlisted for 13 nights, 2 people, one person with the princess plus. Booked and paid for 6 nights, 2 people no princess plus (will use mums elite for 50 percent off the wifi and will enjoy a break from drinking, maybe drink the allowed 2 bottles per cabin of wine) Booked and paid for (a couple of weeks ago) 13 nights by myself with the princess plus
  18. No, its the $50.00 AUS per day princess plus, drinks and wifi. I have booked it, on a waitlist for one of the cruises.
  19. Just heard back from my princess agent and she said you can do the package for one person only. I will just pay for my mums drinks if she has any.
  20. Thank you Aus traveller. My mum is elite and I used that to get 50 percent off the wifi last time. I don't drink a lot and to be honest it is probably better to go without the package and take two bottles of wine per cruise and pay as I order. I have a 13 day cruise booked with the package, going on my own. I'm going to book the 13 day and 6 day cruise before that and was thinking, do the first one with a package and the one in the middle without. There is such thing as getting fed up with too many drinking days. I'm going to ask my mum is she wants to join me for the first two cruises.
  21. Thank you. When I did the 4 cruises back to back in August, we did 2 cruises with princess plus and 2 without. My mum doesn't use the wifi and doesn't drink much. I'm thinking of treating her to a couple of cruises and was hoping to save the extra dollars on the package.
  22. Is it possible to have one person on the princess plus package and not the other guest sharing the same room? I know on Royal Caribbean both guests have to have the same package, but I'm not sure with princess.
