We go on board armed with cash made up of different currencies and denominations so that when a staff member does something "over and above" we can reward him or her; for instance, when we docked in Funjal in April we gave our cabin attendant some euros to go ashore. Captain Tasos and Alejandro were indeed a class act; my daughter and I were shrieking with laughter at Liar's Club but give the comedienne credit as well - she was fabulous.
