I did take it to show the distance between tables compared to some on Royal, but I forgot to mention it. I didn’t see any tables that were crowded. It was all very good, except for the tuna sushi. 🤮

Not sure if it’s a good thing or a bad thing that he died on my birthday. Not that I care to remember him. I like Caitlyn Jenners comment “Good Riddance”.

We were home by 7:40. So nice to see our kitties. @Jimbo Sorry for the confusion. We were on VV Scarlet Lady at the beginning of March and my review is late. We just got off the Odyssey this morning.

I’m glad y’all were able to give Ricky the care he needed. Will this be an ongoing thing or will he be good for now? Wishing the best for the kitty. Upon reading more, I see that it has been answered.

Day 3 breakfast at Razzle Dazzle. We ate more on this cruise than we usually do. To many new and different things to try. Everything was very good. Showing the distance between tables. They don't cram them in like on Royal. Mike had the sunny side hash. I had the malted buckwheat waffles. The nutty gazpacho we split. We split the blueberry green tea cheesecake. I didn't know there was such a thing as dessert for breakfast. I had the smoked cheddar jalapeño croissant. I was after the insides. 😊

The Draft House. The Sip Lounge Mike enjoyed his beer while I really liked the 2 cocktails I had. Afternoon Tea in the Sip Lounge. We didn't do this, but some people were very nice to let me take a quick picture. They said they really enjoyed it.

Day 2 we went to see the show Around The World In 80 Minutes With The Diva. While waiting in line I happen to see this special. This wasn't on the menu and I don't remember the name, but it was good. It was something like the Dixie Krystal (the diva) Special or something. Drink menu from The Manor. This is just part of the show. I don't want to post the other videos here since some people might not find the jokes funny. 20240302_141022.mp4 Their coffee place. Mike tried the expresso martini and he said it wasn't good at all and it was very small. We didn't try anything else here.

Day 2 We had breakfast in the galley. Most food is served by the crew, except there are some to go items you get yourself. Sushi, wraps, salads, fruit and a few other things you could grab. Omelets were made to order and it took about 15 minutes. I tried the Brown Butter Financier and the Key Lime Pie and both were very good. There aways seemed to be a line. Dinner was at Razzle Dazzle. We both had the lamb shank which was very good. Nashville hot cauliflower which was also very good. Pork belly Mike had the dark scores and I had the rum apple cake. Both were excellent.

A Glance At The Day

I guess better late than never. 😁 This was our VV cruise on the Scarlet Lady. This was our first VV cruise and we liked it for the most part. If the price is much cheaper than Royal we would go back. More thoughts on this later. We decided to drive instead of using Uber. It was $22.00 a day. Since this was only a 5 day cruise it was going to cost about the same either way. We parked in parking garage G which was right across the street from the terminal. We checked in about 12:30 and were given our wrist bands aka seapass. We went upstairs and they were just about to board the Rockstars and the Deep Blue Extras (DBE). They board later than Royal and they don't kick you off as early either. We status matched from Pinnacle to DBE. I think anyone who status matched got the DBE, but not 100% sure. This status is only good until the end of this year and they are no longer status matching unless they change it again. I know the were revamping their loyalty program, but not sure if it has come out yet or not. We ended up with a 300.00 bar tab and 100.00 Sailor Loot aka obc which can be used for anything. Part of this was 100.00 for being DBE. We spent all the bar tab and bought a bottle of single malt scotch Alberfeldy. Mike wanted to try it. Saw this car on the way to the port. I was excited when I heard they had sushi which was included in the price. There weren't that many food extras that cost and we only ate what was included. I had the tuna sushi in the Galley on the first day for lunch. I was very disappointed since it wasn't pieces of tuna. It must have been the left over scraps since it was the consistency like ground up hamburger. 🥴 We were on deck 12. This was our dinner reservations for the cruise, but we canceled Gunbae and ate in the Galley the first night. We found out in Gunbae they do a drinking game where people pound on the tables and the waiter encourages everyone. Sail away party. I thought it would be more crowded than it was, but there were also people on the deck above. They had free flowing champagne. Mike and Itook advantage of the champagne. 😃

Thanks for thinking of me. I just haven't had much free time. We're trying to get as much as possible done around here in the next week before our cruise. Been working at it for about the last several weeks.

We will be on the Odyssey at Coco Cay or out at sea depending on when it passes over the US. Very nice. I know I would make good use of the hot tub, but would probably not have it hot and have a private tiny pool to ourselves. I would love that.
