I got it online before we left for our cruise. You can pick what dates you want it valid for.

We were in Ketchikan on a cruise a couple of weeks ago. I rented a car for the day and drove to Ward Lake/Creek. The creek was loaded with pretty fresh pink salmon, along with a few sockeye salmon. I caught several pinks, a sockeye and a dolly varden char. I purchased an Ugly Stick GX2 4 piece pack rod. I got some spinners and jigs. I also packed my lightweight hip waders, which helped a lot. I put it all in a backpack. I had no problems getting my equipment through the airports or onto the ship. I had a blast. A little research is need to make sure which salmon may be spawning.

Wow, Congratulations! Isn't it amazing how you guys were just talking about leaving out of a different port and for your anniversary....and then that was one you could pick! Must have happened for a reason! Congrats again!!

I totally understand your feelings on this. Just had the same thing happen to me on another thread I posted, simply asking a question, and instead had one person to totally criticize the entire post. Guess living in North Carolina, we are just used to being more courteous to others, lol. But like you stated it's just typical for cc.

 

However I do value all of the helpful information and knowledge I have gathered here from truely helpful and considerate people!

I just dont get it. I cruise solo, and pay the price for two in a cabin. But my on board spending still often doubles what I pay for the cruise. I spend in the casino, and I spend on bar drinks, as well as Carnival excursions. I have 6 Carnival cruises since 2000, and never get these offers! I am starting to get p'o, d by this too. Is the trick staying away from Carnival for a few years? I have done that too, sometimes as long as four years between cruises.

I cruised in January and got the free CABIN offer a few months later.

If you log in to carnivals website and check your VIFP offers it should be there. You don't need to go through the lady that called. I thought the same thing. I was cautious it was a scam.

Look at Keens. You can get low ones like tennis shoes that are waterproof. I love mine.

Does anyone know what it takes to earn 1500 points? Particularly for blackjack or slots.

I started with $500. I won about $900 total on the slot machines. I would then go play roulette for several hours at night. I won maybe $200 total at roulette. At the end of the cruise I left with $200.
