Talking of wine, I’ve scrolled back to your useful drinks list and I’m really surprised to see only five complementary white and five complementary red wines available by the glass. Is this just in that bar? Are more wines available in the restaurants and/or on request?
You can order any included wine in any bar or restaurant. If they have to go to another location to get it, it might take a little while. You can also request a bottle for your suite.

Thank you! Is this place near the Madrid Eurostar Tower? My Spanish is somewhat limited and I’d be a little nervous about negotiating distances.
Just get a taxi at your hotel. The taxi drops you off at the end of the alleyway that the restaurant entrance is on.
Let the maitre d' know to order you a taxi at the end of your dinner. We ate in the regular room. Food was delicious!

Make sure they know ahead of time. Your Travel Agent can let them know, or you can call the main Regent number. They'll certainly fix it for you on that first day if it's not the way you want it, but it's easier all around if they can do it during the turn around
They have only forgotten to have it set up that way once when we have our TA remind them ahead of time. And it was done before bedtime on that cruise with many apologies.

Since it looks like you have "dinner on your own" a couple of nights in Madrid, I highly recommend booking dinner and flamenco show at Flamenco at Corral de la Morería. We were able to book at 6 p.m. which is a great thing in Spain since dinner doesn't usually start in most restaurants until 8 or 9.

First thing I do once I get to the suite is take out the things I don't think want in the refrigerator and put them on the counter. Then leave a list of things I do want including wine and liqueur with my suite number and leave it next to removed items. That way if I don't see my steward I still get things that evening.

But always ask before you get in.

And when reading Passages each evening don't just read the daily schedule. Also read all those things that look like ads because the will announce an event that may not be listed on the schedule.examples are included wine tasting (often called wines of the Old and New Worl) and the Sunday Brunch.

I remember there were taxis lined up when we disembarked last August.

I agree with getting to the theater at least 10 minutes prior to the time on your tickets.
UNLESS told otherwise by Destination Services. Last year on Navigator, they would not allow us in the theater before our ticket time, which made Stars Lounge a choke point.
Only time I've seen this rule in 7 cruises, though.

Unfortunately, no matter what time is chosen, it will be inconvenient for someone in our Global Society!
Good job coming up with 5 p.m. EDT though, @RELS!- 1

One of the best excursions I've been on! When I realized you all were going to be there yesterday, I regretted not telling everyone to do this tour!
He was our guide last year too. Very talented and patient with our many questions.- 3

One of my favorite excursions last year was the fjord cruise with waffles!

We're trying to stick to the excursions included in the cost since we're already stretching our budget so much with this cruise.
Agree! That's why I was sad to see the complete George Inlet excursion now has an upcharge! Boo hoo. (Also on my May cruise it is at 7:00 a.m. Even I wouldn't eat crab at that hour!)
You will have no problem getting the White Pass tickets.

Yes, they do quite often offer a transfer and optional tour. When they give you the disembarkation form to fill out a few days before the end of the cruise, you will then see all the options. You can also inquire at destination services.
Recent Japan cruisers can chime in and tell us what they did in Tokyo. -

I don't know if this has been addressed, but can I only reserve each specialty venue once in advance? Then any subsequent times upon embarkation? And does the apply to dinner and lunch reservations?
Pre-cruise reservations is one per specialty restaurant per segment. Once onboard, other reservations can be made either through the dining reservations desk or your butler if you have one. Others have mentioned have good luck just stopping in at the restaurant day of to see if there are any openings. As far as making the online reservation, indicating you will share a table will usually open up more available times.
No reservations for lunch.- 1

A good turn out for the CC meet up in the Navigator Lounge on the first evening;
Did that cruise last summer. Loved it.
Did your Roll Call set up the meet up? Informally or did Regent help?

Planning to get online at midnight. 🙂
It is 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time now! So you don't have to stay up late.
I've cruised Alaska with Regent pre-Covid twice (2012, 2017) and have a third booked in May.
My favorite excursion both times is the George Inlet crab feast in Ketchikan. Lovely cruise with crab fishing info, and then a yummy all you can eat crab meal. Noticed that this is now a Regent Choice excursion, so they are charging $119 per person.Don't miss the White Pass railway.

If you’re on a voyage on Splendor that’s 2 segments ( but you booked it under one reservation) , is it still only three pre booked reservations in the specialty restaurants?
Just booked dining on the 14 night Med cruise on Splendor that is also sold as two 7 night segments. It let me book all 6 reservations (3 each week).
