We have friends who have only cruised with Princess.We have been on 6 cruise lines but never Princess.

Our Hanukah party scheduled tomorrow for my daughters house will instead be in my house because my children do not want me to be out in this weather.It is expected to be a lot worse tomorrow. The advantage of having it where I live is that people on my daughters block are not likely to move their cars whereas my condo complex has a large amount of visitors parking spaces .

36 mph here.We have a tree very close to our house and I am watching the branches blowing and getting very close to our terrace door .

I assume you know this but just in case you do not there will be a program on CBS this evening about your celebrated neighbor.It is 9PM my time presumably the same in your area.

My daughter and her husband who are at their home in a town where it will be 3 degrees tomorrow are coming to the party where it will be 11 and from there going to Virginia where it will be 9.

57 and partly sunny here.Heavy wind .Temperatures tonight in the teens and even windier.Our party tomorrow is still on.Most people will be coming from parts of NY that will be a lot colder than the 11 degrees we are supposed to have.

I was in SD for the first time in 1999 and loved the area.

A long time friend of mine moved from NYC to Santee,CA about 40 years ago.He proclaimed it to be the best place to live because of the great weather.He left to move to a small town in Oregon that has the most snow of any area in the state.

Saturday is our Hanukah party .Most of the people coming have long drives and they might decide not to come.For us it is only 4 minutes to the house of one of our daughters but if the ground is icy we may not be able to go either.

You can always go to Canada but not always go to Greenland ,IMHO.

On our first cruise we wandered off on our own and realized that the ship would be leaving in 45 minutes .We were more than an hour from the cruise port and we decided to hitchhike .A guy picked us up and we told him where we needed to be.He did not believe that we could get back on time but he exceeded the speed limit and got us back as the crew was in the process of leaving .Luckily we were able to board.

My favorite place for rugelach was the Brooklyn bakery where Toby’s mother worked.

Toby and I were at that theater more than once.My cousin Sam was a Waiter at Ratners.We used to go there and the movies on the same day. I loved Ratners.
