  1. Military appreciation is just that, appreciation and has nothing to do with change or conflict in schedule. It’s a rate to say thank you for your service but they don’t change all of their policies just because you’re in the military. If they booked the cruise and then got deployed or put on any other official orders then yes Carnival will allow them to change or cancel without penalty, but since they were already deployed they took that chance by booking a cruise when they more than anyone knows the risk of change.

  2. I've been on the Breeze, and looked at the page listing the ships with the AB. But someone in one of groups swears the Breeze has one, but they don't advertise it. If it was on the Breeze when I was, I would have found it.

  3. I did the Freedom Repo last March. I traveled with a passport, but my two traveling companions used birth certificates. We started in Florida and ended in Texas.

Thank you Kim, I keep getting conflicting info on this so I was hoping to hear from someone who has experienced this first hand.

  4. In January we had to pay the other 50% ($600) of our deposit to get a $120 price reduction and $50 OBC for our 6/27/15 cruise. Something new to me - Early Saver is no longer available for our cruise even though it's 5 months out. Has anyone seen Carnival pull Early Saver? Does that mean the boat is nearly full? In our last 2 cruises Early Saver was available right up to departure and we received OBC after we made our final payment when price drops occurred. Carnival seems to be changing the rules on Early Saver, or the boat is nearly full could be the other explanation...

ES promotion is never available up to departure, price drop is available up to 2 days before departure

  5. No but it could affect your deposit, and the full deposit may be due. So if you due get a price drop double check on the deposit. I done this last year, I knew the full deposit would be due, but the ccl rep didn't mention it, I went to manage my cruise, and my cruise had been canceled. I caught it in time that they just rebooked it for me, with same room.

  6. i don't think the water is great for a few reasons:

1- the cabin stewards now have to retrieve their water, fit it on their carts and make sure they delivered to proper rooms

2- how does carnivals staff keep track of the bottles of water, i can easily see passengers using the other bottles of water that are in the cabins and not know which one is included and being charged for the other

3- the ship will have more bottles to store until they are taken off the ship and disposed off

4- i don't like plastic bottles they contain chemicals that are bad for you

5- for environmental purposes don't we have enough plastic bottles on this earth taking up so much unnecessary space, we don't need more garbage to keep on this planet

  7. You would of had a free drink coupon to be used at punch liners breakfast or outside they had a bartender making them there also...now you get a whole bottle of WATER!!!

I think the water is great, but as a platinum guest, they will get the water, and the drink coupon. The drink coupon was discontinued for red and gold members.

  8. I love Carnival, but they need to be more consistent. I just talked with my PVP and she informed me that I would turn gold 2 days into the cruise and I would have to go to customer serve ice and have them change it.. I guess I will just have to find out when we are on the ship..

You will be gold from the start, if you go too manage my account and print documents, it should say temporary status Gold.
