It's not really worth booking while on your current cruise when you have to pay so much down, unless you can get the $50 deposit special. Your only getting $50 OBC per cabin anyway. And they have specials throughout the year any way to get that. It's not like it use to be with FCC.

You can't remove cheers tips, it's added to the cost. Even if you could it makes no sense, just so you can tip extra with each drink. You can still tip with each drink you order.
-
That is true, but the 48 hr price thing should still be good. OP, you had better hurry and call.
I'm not sure the 48 hour rule will apply, but that's why I said it wouldn't hurt to call,

I would stick with the cove, I have been in both type of balconies on the Dream.
-
Super saver does not qualify for price protection, but can't hurt to try
-
If there is no specials going on it will be $200 per person, if you might have to change it, don't book ES
-
If you buy on day 2 you do not pay for day 1
-
Your above water, barely lol. The crew cabins will be below you. So is all the crew dinning areas, crew bar, storage rooms, engine room. There's a lot below you within 2 or 3 decks.

No flaming, just a goodbye

If you book while on board you will get OBC just like you did with the certificate. Plus you get a voucher for friends and family to book within 60 days to get the same OBC.
-
Rules were meant to be broken. Who here hasn't exceeded the legal speed limit? There are stiff fines for those, too, but it makes it makes people happy to bend the rules. Smoking on balconies will go the same way. And by the way - Speeding KILLS.
Speeding does not kill, wrecking does.

Good news on both accounts

Why does what someone else paid for a cruise matter to anyone else ? It's not like the prices are hidden from public view, they are open to the public to see. If someone gets a " free " casino cruise, great for them, but that cruise isn't really free is it ? They most likely lost so much money in the casino they want more of their money. I usually cruise in the off season and save a lot of money, example, my next cruise costs $429 in August, I took the same exact cruise in November and paid $189. Some ports, as well as time of year just cost more. Just like the saying goes, sometimes your the bug, sometimes the windshield, if you paid a high price then well, your the bug, better luck next time.

Even tho it's BS, yes it's typical. You just have to pay attention to the stipulations under the new fare code.
-
A lot of times it's just there will be a lifeboat right below your cabin, so you can look straight out just fine, but you can't look down into the water.

I checked everyday for my daughter and after a couple weeks 1 opened up, an I snagged it. So keep checking

being offended is totally different than being bored. some people just don't find curse words funny or entertaining in the absence of other material.

If you don't find it funny and your bored then don't go. I don't care if they use curse words or not, if they do great, if they don't great. I don't see there is an absence of anything.

I will never understand what some people find amusing about profanity and vulgarity. But to each their own I suppose.
I will just stick to the family show.
Mainly because we are not offended by words.

It took a bit to warm up to the cowboy but overall thought he was pretty good.
Still wondering what they pay George Lopez for.
I'll never understand why they George Lopez, that's a waste of money

We were on Elation 0n 5/22...Mutzie was hilarious, AND does not curse...you can find some of his routines on youtube...We didnt miss one of his shows...THe other comedian"Cowboy" was so-so. We only saw one show of his, and had o real desire to see any more..too hyper, not funny enough..
If your on a cruise where cowboy performs multiple shows, he does a different routine each time. I thought his first two shows were great, 3rd and 4th not as good.

Didn't the OP say she was traveling with her son?
In any case, I don't know why she expected something that's not a permanent fixture to meet ADA regulations. Please.

Yes, she did say that

Like many things, comedy is subjective, some comedians you'll like, some you won't. I was on the Dream in April, I think there were 4 different comedians, 3 were great and 1 was ok. But that doesn't mean the other couple hundred guests didn't love the 4th one. But I also don't expect that all comedians or jokes are going to be gut busting ROFLOL funny either. I have seen some comedians on multiple ships, and yes it would be nice to hear different material, but I watched a video of Ron White where he told some of the same jokes 15 years ago he's telling today. If it's one you don't like just leave.

The Fantasy, in 1997. Loved it

Just for you, this story is free - Also, interestingly NOW multiple folks on our cruise are complaining of stomach virus issues. However, we only got soiled sheets. Some are still complaining they are very ill along with fever. A few a pointing to Jimmy C's BBQ as the pork was not fully cooked. It sounds like I got the MUCH better deal as we had no stomach related concerns.
It's free ? This must just be my lucky day, how much did everyone else pay for that story ?
Price match?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

You might agree, but that just makes you both wrong. Lol, here's the policy
As you might see, super saver does not qualify for price match
