The upgrade is already built into the pricing. Fir example, you book a 6A ocean view rate but you get a 6C cabin

I get what you’re saying, and understand the differences in the categories based on letters. I was just curious as to their wording because the price for the same category room is only $5 less if I do regular ES or the VIFP promo.

So, we booked a cruise on Glory for next March, and went with the “early saver exclusive VIFP club member offer” which includes a two category upgrade as well as other benefits like $50 obc and price protection. My question is about the category upgrade - we booked aft view balcony, so what would the upgrade be?

We really enjoyed our trip to Uxmal if you go the ruins route. We were there in early March so it wasn't at all hot - perfect weather. The grounds are fantastic and I have some beautiful photos from a top the pyramid.
Uxmal looks great, but I don't know if donating half of the port time to riding in a bus is right for us this trip.
If only I had more time to plan!! /sarcasm

360 days, 2 hours, 30 minutes.

I'm booked on it in September. I'm excited because this will be my first balcony cabin! Zipline in Cozumel sounds fun, I'll have to check into that.
Our prior cruise was a balcony and we loved it. When we travel to beach destinations we like to splurge for a view, and cruising fits that bill! I would consider an ocean view with the kids, but that's a discussion for another time.
The zipline looks like it's right off the pier, so hopefully is nice. I'm also looking into more secluded/quiet options to Mr Sanchos.

I've been reading lots of trip reports, but really can't wait for the transition to get a full idea of how it operates out of it's new home of NOLA.

My wife and I decided to go on a second cruise, and booked the Glory out of NOLA for the last week of March 2019. We will be leaving the kids with my mom in NOLA, and enjoying 5 days in the sun, and relaxing on our aft balcony :). We previously sailed on the Destiny in 2011, pre any of the 2.0 stuff, so we're excited about some of the new options.
First stop is Cozumel and the zipline followed by Mr Sanchos and massages sounds like a good fit for us.
Second stop is Progresso, and I've no idea what to do there. Thinking ruins could be nice, but also wouldn't mind just lounging on the beach and doing nothing. Short trip to Dzibilchaltun followed by a resort pass may be good.
Glad I've got a little bit of time to plan ;););)

I’m looking at booking the Glory for a 5 day cruise in March ‘19. Excited for this, as I’ve only been on the Destiny prior, with none of the 2.0 stuff.
I wouldn’t mind seeing NVL or RCCL jump into the 5 day market out of NOLA though.

I stumbled across this review while doing some snooping around for a friend that's on the Dawn in a couple weeks (gotta live vicariously through someone in this gloomy Chicago weather!). This awesome review has made me rethink my current plan of vacationing in St Croix this fall, and consider a cruise. You should seriously be paid or compensated for these reviews. I wonder if there was a spike in bookings and upsells during your week...

If you have a flight in the international terminal (A I think), can't you just pick up a bottle to take home?
you have to be on an international flight (leaving the country i believe) to buy in the duty free shop in the airport.

I’m seeing that. Seems more of a flashy marketing term that doesn’t apply to every booking but it pops up for every booking.
