  1. Please do not focus your cruise around the marina/toys. I have been on about 15 Seabourn cruises (several in the med) and have never seen the marina utilized. The only time toys came out was at the Carambola beach BBQ. There are so many things to appreciate on a Seabourn cruise. Don't get fixated on something that might not happen. Enjoy.
  2. Over the years I have spent quite a bit of time in BCN for both business and leisure. My go to is Hotel Neri. Excellent location and the service is impeccable, but also warm and personable. The only possible drawback in my mind is that it is in a narrow alleyway, which means you need to walk your luggage a few yards to get to a more passable street for pick up, but also means it is quiet.
  3. For goodness sake, can't we withhold judgement until the new concept is rolled out? I have never been a big TK fan, often not bothering to make a reservation. Living in NYC we are spoiled for steakhouses, Sparks, Keen's, Smith & Wolensky, etc in Manhattan and Gage & Tollner, Peter Luger, etc in Brooklyn and dozens of others. I liked the small plate concept of "Restaurant Two," even though I had to search for one of the less foie gras friendly menus before making a reservation...to each his own. Hopefully the new concept will provide a bit of something for everyone. Only time will tell....
  4. That would be a step up from my cats who would be 1) sleeping or 2) yawning after waking up from sleeping. I just need to keep advocating for cats as fabulous pets and companions. I have had both cats and dogs and love both, BUT in a NYC apartment cats win every time.
  5. I too thank you for your educational and entertaining posts during your voyage. Safe travels home. The cat needs a new agent as he only got one solo photo and no videos!
  6. I was on the Quest NY/Montreal in October. Thought food was on par with pre-Covid cruises (not great/not bad). Although the last evening in the Colonnade - chosen for ease due to packing/disembarkation was really poor. Billed as "Canadian Market," it was really "clean out the refrigerator" night. I made that comment to staff (Kitchen, Serving and Management). No one disagreed with me.... Food/Dining is not my priority when choosing a cruise, but this one instance was a bit pathetic....To me MDR food is a bit boring, Collande not up to previous standards and Earth and Ocean is fab.
  7. I was on the same cruise as the OP and have the same general observations. This was our 9th Seabourn cruise and overall I found service at the same level as past pre-Covid cruises. Our stewardess team was accommodating, efficient and extremely personable. Staff at Earth & Ocean/Patio Grill, Patio Bar and the Sky Bar were for the most part exceptional. Service in the other restaurants was variable, but for the most part friendly and competent. I have never been a big fan of the food on board (repetitive, tepid in temperature and fairly bland), but that is very subjective, and I found no change from prior voyages Internet is unbelievably bad. Much worse than before the free package was offered. Knowing I would need to work intermittently during the trip, I immediately signed up for the pay package. Even so, one day it took me sitting in the Square for about 45 minutes to review and approve some wire transfers that my team had submitted. In normal circumstances this would have taken 5 minutes. We were in port in Halifax at the time, not at sea or in some backwater. Big problem. The day in Quebec City with no TV or internet for most of the day was also unacceptable Sorry for the OPs problem with lemons. I drink ice tea during the day and kept telling the Patio Bar, Sky Bar and Square - no lemon!
