  1. I have been trying to register for a December sailing since May. If I just enter my ship and sail date, I get a message that the sailing does not exist! If I enter my booking number with ship and sailing date, I get the page that has our names. I check both names and enter my e-mail address and submit. The names section disappears and the section asking for my e-mail address and to subscibe is there, but the boxes are all cleared.

I'm having this exact same issue. So you are not alone.

  2. As much as I hate to say it, with all the bugs, errors and misinformation on Celebrity's website, it's nothing but a POS. Best thing they could do is shut the whole website down and get some people who know what they are doing to rebuild it. Right now it's nothing but a crapshoot whether you can get the information you are looking for and whether it's accurate. We have an Alaska cruise and cruise tour that's been screwed up for more than two weeks now. I've stopped logging in to My Celebrity to even check to see if it's been fixed.

  3. No, you are not expecting too much!

If I were looking to take my first cruise and found all the problems on Celebrity's website that can't seem to ever get fixed, I would be looking at other cruise lines. We currently have a 5 night Alaska cruise tour and southbound cruise booked and the reservation shows us in Anchorage for 5 nights! This has been screwed up for 3 days. IMHO I think Princess has the best web site, and we've never been on Princess. No wonder loyal Celebrity customers are not happy.

  4. Our TA usually pays our gratuities and gives us $100 OBC. Our next cruise we get gratuities and $200 OBC. We have never expected our TA to do anything more than to provide the great service we've always had. Been with our TA for 10 years.

  5. Mary Lou,

Our same sentiments. We've been to Alaska twice in the last 10 years on Infinity. If we were just going to do an Alaska cruise, we would jump back on Infinity in a minute as she is our favorite ship. Not knowing a lot about cruise tours, we want to see which one we want to do.

  6. It doesn't do much good to say we can book Alaska cruises starting today if you can't see the actual cruises or dates. My DW and I want to book a cruise-tour and the southbound cruise, but not without seeing what's available. Still can't view anything as of 10 minutes ago!

  7. I spoke with Ellen at Captain's Club this afternoon. She informed me that as soon as the Alaska cruises for 2015 are available, we should be able to log-in to "My Celebrity" and view the listings. She seemed pretty knowledgable and said to keep checking each day as there was no specific day this week when they would be released.

  8. After disembarkiing Eclipse on March 23rd, and going through the WORST disembarking we've ever had on any cruise, including 5 Celebrity cruises out of FLL, we also will never do another Celebrity FLL cruise that sails out of pier 25.

And I believe this has nothing to due with the sequestration! There have been all kinds of bad reports prior to the beginning of the sequestration about the Celebrity use of pier 25.

There were 5 customs agents and having plenty of time to wait in line and observe, it took an average of 25 seconds for each couple/individual to clear customs. It's the pier that Celebrity uses and the poor process of disembarking from pier 25 and claiming luggage in pier 24!

  9. Without question, Imade on Century was the BEST waiter we have ever had. I hope maybe he is on Equinox when we sail in February. If not, I hope he has at least been promoted to Asst' Maitr'd on Century or other ship. Mazy was the best Asst' Maitr'd we've ever had, on Infinity.
