High rent district of the dock… BOAT - Bust Out Another Thousand 💸💸

Last night consisted of some casino time. I’m doesn’t take long for us to lose so not a ton of time taken up there 😂 So far just some slots and video blackjack for me. DW likes roulette and i’ll join in everyone now and then. My casino luck is not good so I limit my time there. I’ll stick to fantasy sports and occasional sports betting. Pub guitar singer - listened to the first set before the 70’s party in promenade. Hung out for that for a bit and headed to the room for some late dinner room service. Royal burger was good & Philly Cheesesteak was so-so. Basically some steak on a hot dog bun with peppers and cheese. Of course some chocolate chip cookies. Took about 40 minutes but was on time. Caught a few minutes of the latin band in Boleros & they are really good. Popular too. Seems packed every time I’m going by. Im sure you have noticed by now we are not theatre show people. Sometimes we will go to the comedian but that’s about it.

Good Morning 😃 We are pulling into Portland Maine slowly but surely pushing the port side alongside the dock. We don’t have any specific plans here. The app only had 4 or so excursions available to purchase that we weren’t enamored with so we opted to wing it.

I can say it doesn’t feel empty at all on this ship and I was on several covid cruises where it was definitely limited amount of passengers.

No actually I’m glad you asked bc i was going to comment that this is by far the best wi fi i have experienced in recent years. Wi-fi is great on the balcony which has NEVER happened. In fact it’s non existent on the balcony every other time. Only time it’s been slow or locked up has been deep inside the pub sitting at the bar - it’s kinda like a little cave in there. Have not found any other bad spots yet.

Had a pre-draft ice cream cone and heading to post up in a bar somewhere for my online draft. This kills our MDR ideas for tonight but we’ll figure something out. We are very “go with the flow” kinda people.

Hit the Jammer for quick lunch The steamed rice and beef/olive stew was really good together. Potato spears and veggies done perfectly. Lemon fish wasn’t that great though.

Captain spoke while skating at the top tier. CD Mario had him do a little skills competition for us. shoot 3 pucks at the hole in the net. He did not do it but claimed he got it last week. He’s Canadian from Vancouver- seems pretty comfortable on skates 😉 We got a special skating show from the ice performers as well.
