  1. Link worked for me and I got my upgrade. I was pretty quick to do it. I imagine if you wait too long they will move on to the next best offer. That is what I was worried about.
  2. Saw this on the record breaking 70 degree day we had a few days ago in Pittsburgh. Makes me laugh every time b/c it is sooo true.
  3. yes! I actually got my notice email that i had won my royal up bid less than 30 min after i got off the phone canceling my card that had fraudulent charges. I almost immediately got another email stating the card on file was declined. There was a link to click and re enter another card. Thank god the offer was till good & I ended up getting the upgrade.
  4. West grove is over by Philly - far east side of PA. I am about and hour away from Grove City on the western side of PA near Pittsburgh.
  5. my first notice to bid and winning bid email both came from royalup@rccl.com
  6. So true. Reminds me to get back to my smoker. I’ve done a lot of whole chickens and did 3 turkeys for thanksgiving this year that turned out tremendous! I’ve been working on briskets and prefer just the flats to whole briskets. I don’t like the fatty brisket ( maybe in the minority there) so the flats are perfect for me. Here’s my turkeys …
  7. I doubt you will have any issues finding belvedere but it it’s going to depend on the exact stocking situation of your ship on your sailing dates. Just make sure you specify you want belvedere when ordering. For example, On EX last month Buffalo Trace was a bit limited. The pub would run out but the pool bar or casino bar would have it etc etc Maybe a different story if you’re looking for something rare. I always try to find a good bartender the first day and let them know what I like & that i’ll be a frequent customer πŸ˜‰ and they will make sure they have it (if it’s known to be on the ship is the key) for you. A few bucks never hurts too. That’s been my personal experience. Hope that helps cheers 🍻
  8. I used A2S for the first time in November for our trip to Anchorage and then home from Vancouver. I booked online and paid in full at the time of booking. I was not given the option to pick seats at booking but after I called and had them issue the ticket numbers I was able to add the trips into the apps for United and Air Canada and select seats. It was frustrating that I had to call and ask them to ticket our flights. In fact, I had to remind the rep when I called that I was already paid in full. They were just assuming I wasn’t paid. What I have found annoying is when changes are made it seems to drop my seat selections. Mainly with Air Canada so far. For example, Flight numbers changed at least twice already and it has dropped my seat selections each time - but only for the free seats. The leg with paid seats did hold so that is good. The rep at A2S said that they have the ability to assign seats for most carriers but not all. Air Canada was one I had to figure out myself.
  9. Thanks for taking us along & for taking the time out of your vacation! I enjoyed following. Cheers 🍻
  10. Nice - Good tip! Definitely necessary to find the right bartender for an old fashioned or be ready to be very specific on how you want it
  11. Probably but To be fair - I didn’t even wait a full 24 hrs before calling. I also got connected immediately to speak with someone - 0 hold time!
  12. I got impatient waiting for a return email and called C&A. They said they are shipping the crystal block. Could take 3 weeks depending on availability.
  13. That’s great - it was terrible on explorer on the balcony. In the cabin was good for the most part but balcony was so bad.
  14. I am so jealous you’ve been on a B3B! Hope your last leg is fantastic & you aren’t accosted by crazy people with malfunctioning hearing aids 😝
