  1. Welcome back! Even if it's just a quick hello :) I am one of the many that LOVED your reviews, but I know they are a lot of work and take a lot of time. I'm always super appreciative of anyone that takes the time and effort to put together a day by day, sometimes it seems minute by minute, of their trip. I love reading them, whether I'm planning on that ship or port or not. LOL I live vicariously through the fun of others since we tend to have about 4 years between cruises...only because we have to save up that long LOL We are on a major budget, so little by little we get there.

I will see what I can do. Doing a review would be a good way to take my mind off of some other things that are going on right now

  2. I noticed that you moved back to Illinois. Did not like Florida? Any details you want to share? :)

Hello. Yes I moved back to Illinois in January 2017. I didn’t have any family or friends in Florida. I got very homesick and it was time to come home. I moved back home to Illinois and I’m working for a great company doing what I love

  3. Hello everyone. Yes I am still around. I just got off the Carnival Conquest yesterday to celebrate my best friend getting married onboard. It was a beautiful wedding

Sorry that I don’t do reviews anymore. Maybe I should do one for the Conquest. It’s been a while since I have done one.

Thank you all for your kind words about my reviews. They are a lot of work but they are fun to put together and I have met so many wonderful friends from here because of my reviews

  4. WRIGLEY80 (Brianna I think) is still cruising. I guess she hasn’t done reviews lately though. Her reviews were always very well done.

  5. I have done the manatee encounter twice in Cozumel through Dolphin Discovery at Chankanaab Park. It was an amazing excursion and both times we did it my dad and I were the only ones in our group. It was awesome

  6. It really is fun. The best was when we were on the Dream in late 2015, and the seas were rough. We were watching San Andreas and they got to the part where a huge rouge wave took out a cruise ship...everyone died laughing. To this day, dive-in movies are one of my favorite things to do on a cruise.

Thanks for the heads up. I told my girlfriend that I definitely want to watch at least one movie under the stars depending on the movie schedule maybe we will go a second night.

Movie, popcorn, and my blanket on a cruise in the middle of the ocean...that sounds like a great night to me

  7. At 8:30am we made our way down to the Normandie Restaurant for the Sea Day Brunch. We figured that with the seas so rough there wouldn’t be many people there, but boy were we wrong. The line was fairly long, but it was moving quickly. I had forgotten that with so many veteran cruisers aboard, a little rocking and rolling wouldn’t deter anybody!

Here is the Sea Day Brunch menu……

We used our free drink coupons today. I had a screwdriver, while Patti ordered a Malibu bay breeze. We each had some breakfast cake…..

I had my usual ranchos hueveros with a side order of corned beef hash…..

They are the best. We have rented from them 3 times before. I'll be back in Key West in July for 5 days so I can't wait to explore with our electric car and not have to be rushed to get back to the ship.

Flipper and Tommy Lee are the best
