I was on the Ascent last month, and ate in Luminae, and got a filet twice.  It was excellent.

They do serve Filet on a night ot two, its the only nights I ate in Luminae. It was not offered on the every night menu, it was Sirloin, chicken, and salmon, for your protein options.

Hey Sailors I’m currently on the 6 night W Carribean June 26th sailing. Feeling a bit frustrated about the situation with Solarium. It’s now a party drinking loud talking zone.  What’s going on Celebrity?

Those gay bears can have fun.

Is the reserved seating for all nights or just chic nights?

I talked to the butler, she said no, only chic nights.. I’m not sure if I have a new butler, I asked for Coke Zero, she said she only fills what’s on the large, Diet Coke. Butler on Ascent filled ours with Coke Zero and diet sprite.

Thanks for posting the full list of inclusions.  I don't see any mention of upper suites having access to the thermal suite as mention earlier in this thread.  Are these inclusion notices stateroom category specific?

I am not in a upper suite. So they probably have a different flyer.

Thank you. It was also a difference in who was handling it. Kaleb talked to the steward as I was already in my pajamas which I don’t feel comfortable talking to someone I don’t know in. As a follow up to make sure I wasn’t uncomfortable on my vacation again (having someone enter our room when I’m in my pajamas), I called guest services. I also didn’t complain to guest services, that would involve me saying I was frustrated, upset, etc. I just said I go to bed around 9 and need earlier turn down. I appreciate you being understanding of that!

Honestly I wouldn't have contacted guest services until a coupe of days if it was an issue, after talking to the cabin steward. You don't have to hint, just say I go to bed at 9 and would like the room updated before that. Understand the workers can have 20+ rooms to makeup, and will get to them. They have so many more room after covid restart.

Do suite bookings still include the premium wi-fi and drinks packages, please? I know there are no gratuities.

No Gratuities, hopefully you have a good TA, that gives OBC. If not find one and don't book directly with Celebrity, IMHO

Just returned from the Celebrity Beyond’s May 5th-12th cruise and here is short review:

    SHIP

    This ship is

Breakfast-Captain’s Club, Eden Cafe and Cosmopolitan

Lunch-Le Grand Bistro, Raw on 5, Craft Social and Cosmopolitan

Dinner-Tuscan, Fine Cuts, Normandie, Rooftop Garden Grill, Eden, Cyprus and Le Voyage.

You did lunch at Le-Grand Bistro, was if Ala carte or were you able to pay one lunch time fee?

  8. Hi There,

Someone posted a pic that Le Grand Bistro went a la carte. Could you verify this? if you can. Or is it an option instead of the lunch fee they had for $25 Thanks

Seems to be the case.  We were told by multiple butlers and the Concierge that they were now fully staffed.
The Butlers were hesitant to say how many suites they had but when I said I read it was over 20, they were surprised that I knew and were a bit more forthcoming with the numbers.

I concur, 4 weeks ago on Ascent, our butler said she has 22 rooms to cover. She did stock our room with soda and brought breakfast and was very friendly when I saw her in the hallway. We are not ones that would make the butler run around for our needs.

I got $300 once when I did this a few months ago, but, you can cash in on boa website, but if you want to use it before cruise you have to call to get them to apply it. Otherwise it shows up once you are on the ship. I also cashed in some other points and they all converted at points/100.

It does not show up while on board. Everyone please call captain club after you cash in your points. You will need your credit card account number and booking number.  I just went through this thinking once I cashed it on on BOA website it will just be added to your cruise for my cruise last month. IT DID NOT. I called and they applied it to my upcoming cruise. I was told that you have to always call in once you cash your points in and have it applied to your booking.

I read in Celebrity’s Cruise 101 blog that to use OBC on slots, insert seapass and select OBC as the preferred credit method. However, a 5% transaction fee will automatically be added to your seapass.  Is there any other way to avoid the transaction fee? For example, with my $350 obc, can I charge $350 to my room when I play and at end of the cruise apply the obc to the outstanding room charges to avoid the 5% fee?

I took $200 out of my Refundable OBC on a slot machine, 3 weeks ago. I was not charged any fee. I played $40 then cashed out. On the last day I still had $125 in OBC, added that to a slot machine, then cashed out. I had just over $5 left when we got off the ship and it was refunded to my CC .
