Someone asked about the HBO show White Lotus.   The first season was great.  I binged watch it.  The second season is trying to hard.  Theo James is great.  But it’s trying too hard    If that makes sense???

Sometimes I feel left out that I don’t respond to every post that I like to follow. So many people here I can relate to.  I agree 100% most times and others I wonder what planet they live LOL.  😎.  I truly appreciate everyone’s comments on here even if I don’t always respond.  I tend to be a Sheldon Cooper (asphergers thing) with most comments here.   But I truly love and appreciate most comments on here.  You have all, mostly, comforted me.   And I want to say thank you to everyone I haven’t met yet. 😎

Good to know I’m part of the “inventory “ 😊. I appreciate how you always try to make everyone feel so welcomed here.  You are a great hostess.  I’m a news junkie and hope that you are able to feel a bit more relaxed in your country.   I read a recent article on a aviation website about shared flights to fifa with Palestinian and Israeli passengers.  I’m guessing it’s more of a publicity stunt than anything but if not it’s a good step??.

I worked for a National company the thought trinkets were good. One year the upper directors got multi thousand dollar bonuses. The department heads and their employees received generic frozen turkeys for their holiday bonus. No cash. The director left for their 10 day vacation. Needless to say, 30 frozen turkeys wet left in their office. It was not a nice site 10 days later. That was the last year without cash bonuses for everyone.

One can have fun speculating what a third world country is today to flesh our this assumed definition. Originally it meant a non-aligned nation during the Soviet-US Cold War.

 

Therefore Singapore could be a third world nation. Or Bangladesh or Somalia. Which one best describes the Veendam.

Third world as in Yemen or Malaysia? Help us out here. Outdoor plumbing, no electricity, children with flies in their watery eyes and ribs sticking out, foraging roots and grubs for dinner?

As long as you are on your explanation, Switzerland is a third world nation as well since they were neutral during the war.

If anyone is hypocritical, it her mayor,city council, or whatever the governing body is at the port or city or country. It is they who decide to let the cruise ships dock. Cruise ships don't just go to a dock haphazardly. They are invited for the money.

Maybe the citizens need to vote for other learners if th don't want the ships to port there.

The Royal Class ships dont have a separate AC system for each cabin. Leaving the doors open still affects others.

I go up to the sanctuary and reserve my spot for the week. I go to my cabin and drop off my backpack. Putt passports in the safe with money and credit cards. If alfredos on the ship i go for lunch, if not then the MDR. I will avoid the buffet at all cost. Then i go to Crooners and get acquainted :-)

I think most people that say they tip “generosity” really dont...they say that to man them feel better on line. I would say that mots people dont tip anythign extra and those that do, tip 5 -10 bucks per dinner. Just tip what feels comfortable fro you, no one will batt an eye. :-)

That was one of the main reasons why my husband decided to be more comfortable. Not to the point of dressing sloppy but just leaving his suit & tie behind for a dressier casual look.

Princess just wants people to look decent on formal nights and not just show up in unpressed jeans & t shirts. Just about anything else is acceptable.

I agree, A shirt and tie are fine for men. No reason for men to be uncomfortable when women can be comfortable... After all, we we supposed to me equal :-)

If men and Women are supposed to be Equal...... Why are women allowed to be comfortable in a loose neck dress. But men are tied up around the neck ? Women can be loose around the body with slinky dress, but men are tied up around the body?? it makes no sense :-(

Drink packages dont work untill you disembark. They finish somewhere around midnight on your last night. You wont have any luck using it on disembarkation mornings as all the accounts have been finalized and your onboard account left in the slot outside your door

Please stop giving out wrong information. The drink packages and your onboard account work until the moment you walk off the ship. The drink package is prepaid, so there is no reason for it not to work. Also, if you want to buy something at the IC without a drink package, they still scan your card and your on board account is amended and your credit card is charged.
