Morning a Warm 18.c start to the day around here ,at least I got 5-6 hours kip.
Not a lot doing today but looking forward to Mrs K's summertime concoctions.
Yesterday she made us a bowl full of strawberries, grapes and chopped apple
smothered in yogurt ,that had all been chilled in the fridge for a hour or so.
Very refreshing it was too.
Whatever your doing today -Take care 😊

I noticed that my cabin on Azura was a lot dirtier than my previous Cunard/Princess/Celebrity cabins. I wonder if that is because they only service cabins once per day now? Unlike a hotel, people spend a lot of time in their cruise cabin so I think the evening clean allows the steward to smarten things up.
Notably, on my recent Caribbean Princess cruise, the cabin steward cleaned the non essential things in the evening (balcony, mirrors etc) whilst focusing on the essentials (bed, bathroom, floor, bin) in the morning.
P&o like the cabin staff to clean cabins ASAP before they are redeployed to other
parts of the ship assisting waiters etc .

Oh these pubes were baked on and were a pre-exisiting condition. Clearly the balconies haven't been hosed down in a while.
I have pre existing conditions but can assure everyone they are not mine .🙃
Question..Does anyone declare pre existing pubes on their travel insurance ? 🤔

Have a great time Brian ,way back early 80's last time I was there and
drank a lot of beer called Rhombus sold by the bottle (6%) as we did
not trust them with draught beers . If you should get a bottle enjoy .

But you wont catch Novo by going to the toilet in the cubicle next door to an.....explosion.
I would not like to find out to be honest but I'd rather stick to our own cabin.

I Hope the Ventura's deep clean has gone well in Tenerife today and
gets the Noro back to hopefully a healthier ship.
I have just had read out to me about a family of four who three of them took ill.
They say they were looked after really well by the ships staff and went onto say
once out and about ,the cleaning by the ships staff were very good .
They said that one family member walked into a public toilet and found a cubicle
had been used and from the look of it .."Had let loose from both ends " and it was
everywhere .
Staff had put a bit of tape around said cubicle and to their amazement letting
folk use cubicles either side ,rather than isolate the whole area .
I guess this is undoing a lot of the good work done by other crew .

Not sure what that advantage might be, but I’ll take your word for it! 🤣
Once a man walked into a pub and a man said to the dog owner watching his dog
cleaning his own tackle.
"Bye eck I wish I could do that " To which the owner replied ...
"Buy him a bag of crisp and he may let you " !! 😉🤣

Poodle cross varieties don't really smell, or at least my sons Labradoodle doesn't.
Depends which deodorant the dog uses John under arm or roll on 🙃😉

@kalos How's Mrs K this morning kalos? improving I hope under your TLC.
She's fine now and says thanks for asking about her and say Her shoulder only
hurts when she pokes it .
No prizes for guessing my advice on that one.😄
She has no bruising at all and is planning on shoving the lawnmower about
tomorrow-So looks like she's OK.
We hope you and Frank are keeping well and he has found that special holiday you both deserve
Take care 💗

If your a deep sea diver I suppose your dog would love that, playing with the dog fish ..
Or a parachute instructor ..When the lead goes slack and the dog yelps ,remember to bend your legs ready for landing 🙃😉

Back to back on Ventura in Tenerife please explain that Bye
Seeing you said please without sniping at peoples posts
If you are on a two week cruise ,Ventura will dock in Tenerife and those on
a two week cruise as opposed to a week or their two week is at an end .
The folk staying onboard have been asked to leave the ship for a few hours
so deep cleaning can take place and will be offered credit for doing so .
No mention of this being mandatory as far as I know .
How this will impact on incoming /outgoing flights to and from the ship is
anyone's guess ?
Hope that helps -Have a good evening .

VENTURA... The Captain has asked anyone on a back to back cruise to
leave the ship tomorrow ,so a deep clean can be carried out ,when it docks in Tenerife .

Thanks for rotating it. How did you manage to do that? No need to go to Australia again if I find out how to do it.
I left a space after the text sometimes the photo gets crammed and turns sideways
seems to happen on phones .
If using desktop then I open with PAINT then rotate 360 deg ,save and post

P&O Cruisers - What are things like where YOU are?
in P&O Cruises ( UK )
Posted
I think it's the humidity that gets us in the UK. I cannot complain too much as due to my
conditions I have circulation problems .
Temperatures around 16-17 .c and some days my fingers or feet can feel cold.
I suppose my personal Goldilocks temperature would be 21-22 .c
Mrs K's sister is totally opposite and loves nothing better than a holiday in a snowy
chilly place . That would be my idea of hell but we all have our own tolerances when
it comes to what makes a perfect day .
