Good Morning, back to Charlottetown today and it's a beautiful day. A group of us were talking about the DVD players in the cabin at happy hour. Our cabin doesn't have one. We had another fine breakfast in the Pinnacle Grill this morning. Mimosas are the draw for DH. Today's When and Where.

Good Morning, thanks for the daily fleet report. @dfish I'd give any of your recipes a try. Today we return to Charlottetown and the weather is beautiful. Will walk around a bit but have no major plans. I checked with shore excursions and do far our Halifax excursion is a go. Their description is much more interesting than the navigator apps.

Good Evening, lunch at the Pinnacle Grill was great. No pictures. The tomato lemongrass soup is wonderful. I had the burger, minus avocado, and it was much better that the Dive In. The brownie for dessert was also good as was the coconut ice cream. We used our second free dinner at the Canaletto tonight. The manager let us know that he'd make sure our service would be good and it was. I had the minestrone soup and turned the veal and sage meatballs into the main course. All was very good. After dinner we waited in the lounge while our cabin was cleaned. The concierge said that lots of people on board were seasick and cancelling dinners. We didn't think there was much rocking of the boat. Skipped the show tonight since it was BBC show.

We thought the walk up was well worth it. I'd say a few extra leg exercises wouldn't hurt. Our path had lots of stairs. After we were back on the ship taking g our shoes off was a relief:-)

Good Morning from the Zaandam. Thanks for the daily fleet report. DH thinks that winter has set in, no baking in the sun for him. Clicks moved forward an hour and I slept until 8. That nonsense is not allowed at home. When the kids want breakfast they get persistent. Breakfast was in the Pinnacle and lunch will be in the same spot. Dinner will be in Canaletto. I hope everyone has a nice day today.

Good Morning, the clocks moved ahead 1 hour overnight and I slept in until 8! The cats never let that happen at home. We went to the Pinnacle for breakfast again. DH wanted a mimosa and with some ever do slight arm twisting I had one too. After breakfast we attended a Mariner recognition event again. This time those with 900 sea days had their pictures taken. Today's When and Where. Last night I noticed when Late night begins on the ship. I found it amusing.

After DH took advantage of some sun and laid out on the balcony. After a quick lunch from the taco bar we walked around the city for awhile. Tonight's dinner was in the Pinnacle Grill. I had the mandatory bacon. Tonight I tried the pork chop. After dinner we met up with a pride group and had some nice conversations.

While making dinner reservations the concierge apologized for the internet interruption yesterday. We didn’t notice. She received reports from the Nieuw Statendam that the internet is poor and that those guests expecting good internet connections during the VOV will be disappointed.

We are back to Quebec this morning and it's a cloudy start. Will probably get off the ship once we think stores open. If it rains we'll stay onboard so we don't melt. Today's When and Where

Turn around day was a rather easy. We walked around Montreal and picked up a few souvenirs. After a very quiet lunch we relaxed on the ship. At three there was a 3,4 and 5 star reception. Drinks flowed easily. No testing or muster station was required so that was nice. Dinner was in the lido despite the app saying we had MDR reservations.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. Back to Quebec on a cloudy day. All aboard is 3:30 so it will be a few hours of walking around town once we think things open. The meal suggestion sounds good and may have it for lunch. I hope that everyone has a good day today.

Finally tried the Pinnacle for breakfast. Service and food were good. On the way back to the cabin a stretcher was following me on deck 7 with a bunch of crew. I hope whomever they were gathering is ok.

Leaving Quebec. After dinner in the lido we watched the second Cantare show. Not bad but once was enough. After the show we saw a double rainbow.

Good Afternoon, we walked up to the Citadel this morning. They haven't done the changing of the guard ceremony in three years, thanks to Covid. Today however we were there in time for the 21 canon salute. Very nice to witness. Walking back we saw the following on the outside of the Citadel.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. I'm with @dfish and will pass on today's meal suggestion. We are approaching Quebec and should be docked by 9. Thunder storms were in the forecast for today. So far the weather looks good.

Good Morning, Today's When and Where.

So far I haven't seen them. It didn't occur to me to look for them.

Tonight we had dinner in the Canaletto. We had reservations for 6 pm. At the 50 minute mark we finally received our entrée. We were a bit surprised that the service was so slow. The manager said it was because they had a large table. We weren't the only guests disappointed in the service. We made it just in time for the 7:30 show. It was the One Step Dancers with the Piano Bar singer and someone from the Ocean Bar band. The show was better than last night's show. However, the dancers added nothing to the show. We both thought that we would have enjoyed it if it was just with the two singers. Tonight was also Chocolate Surprise night. Chocolate never disappoints. Our second towel animal.

This morning we were invited to a Mariner recognition event. It was for five star and President Club members. No awards were presented. Champagne and mimosa flowed freely. We also gor our pictures taken with the captain. After a brief rest we had lunch in the Pinnacle Grill. I had the chicken lemongrass soup and it was very good. It may have been the mimosas but I ordered the Alaska Black Cod sandwich. DH ordered the beef tri tip sandwich. We cut them in half so we could try each. The cod sandwich was OK, DH liked it.(I'm not a big fish eater) The beef sandwich was very good. I then had the lemon sorbet. Then off to the dining room for the wine tasting.
