The weather has turned very pleasant so the ac gets a break and the windows are open to allow fresh air in. While there was nothing on my work schedule today it’s already been a very busy morning.

The weather is supposed to turn nice, cooler temperatures and low humidity and that is supposed to last most of the weekend. I’m hoping that forecast holds true. I hope everyone has a good evening. May cats love sky raisins and this gave me a chuckle.

I got this email this afternoon. My July 2023 Zaandam cruise is listed. Not at a good enough sale to get me cancel my current booking.

I'm not a pesto fan so will pass. I enjoy our trips to Montreal. We've only visited on a BHB. Sadly HAL doesn't offer any excursions for those doing a B2B. Amelia joined me yesterday as I watched Mighty Cruise Ship episode on Diamond Princess.

If you are on FB there are HAL fan groups where some people will share the PCC if they are good.

I’ll wait for pictures and recipes from @dfish before passing judgment on today’s meal suggestion. With two ships in Bar Harbor today I’m left wondering if that can happen next year. I finally got to speak with my PCC, I’ve been trying since 8/12. He says he was on vacation despite his voicemail saying he was in the office. I managed to save some money on our March cruise. Sadly our Zaandam cruise was not so lucky, but only because it took so long to speak with someone.😡 It’s a another hot and sunny day here. The crew working on our sidewalks has been ever busy. We should have the concrete poured next week. Then no going in or out of the driveway for two days. I hope everyone has a good Thursday.

I agree with @iceman93. When we departed the Zaandam last month the line for cabs was long and very slow. I did notice that those that tipped baggage handlers were put to the front of the line.

Roy, I’ll be on the NA and we are scheduled to return to FLL on November 20. Hoping that hasn’t changed.

I’m hoping it lingers for awhile so that the plants get a good drink. @dfish the recipes and pictures look delicious, I’ll take a bowl full please. I spent about 25 minutes on hold with HAL and only got the promise of a return call today, heard that before. I’ve been trying since 8/8. I hope everyone has a nice Monday.

For our June 25 Zaandam cruise we were considered fully vaccinated with just the first two shots. There was no need for any booster.

Speaking of Cannoli. My sister posted this picture of a take on cannoli. It is cannoli pastry squares with the filling on the side. Just scoop the pastry into the filling.

I’ve been trying for almost two weeks to get someone to respond to emails and phone calls. I haven’t received anything back.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. Today promises to be another hot one. Last night while watering a hawk landed on my neighbors chimney, it was beautiful. I’m curious about today’s meal suggestion looking forward to pictures and recipes from @dfish. I like today’s quote, it’s been awhile that I laughed so hard that my stomach hurt. I’ll celebrate senior citizens day by going to Christmas Tree Shop. They are offering a discount until noon. Today’s port is conflicting for me. I do my best to stay out of the big city, country boy at heart. I very much like sailing out of Boston, it’s so easy for us. I hope everyone has a good Sunday.

When we were on the Zaandam a friend of ours was in an OV cabin and she thought that the tub was high. We thought it ok.

Yesterday, in between meetings, I defrosted the upright freezer and got things reorganized. No plans other than going to the grocery store. I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Good Afternoon, the doctors visit went well. My blood pressure was even good, it usually isn’t at the doctors office. @Quartzsite Cruiser He recommended I get the shingles shots. He did mention that they tend to make people feel sick right after. I’ll check with the pharmacy to be certain I would be able to get both doses. In our area the second shot isn’t always easy to get.

I have to put the cone on Amelia from time to time when she has a flare up of her bum. When she won’t stop licking and I scold her she hisses at me. When she’s coned her personality changes. She’s more friendly, like see daddy I’m a good girl now remove the cone and I’ll be good.
