Where did you see that??  Are you planning to arrive super-early?

Prior to set arrival times, we usually arrived 11am or later, and have had no problem parking.  However, if you were to get there before there is a space available, due to everyone still just getting off the ship, I imagine you could be asked to wait.

I think it would be foolish to consider parking elsewhere.

From what it sounds like, the first arrival slot is 10 so we were going to get there at 9:30ish

  2. I saw on another thread that parking was difficult when you get to Baltimore port for the first arrival time because you have to wait until the arriving cruise passengers disembark.  I am trying to board first time available.  What are other's experiences?  Do they make you wait in line to park until everyone leaves?  Are we better off parking off site?  Thanks!

My experience it was just the same.  Our first night, even though the dining room was at most 35% full with plenty of open tables, they seated another family at a table placed 6" away from ours.  The same thing happened the next morning at breakfast.

At breakfast did they try to seat you at the same table with others?

  4. Gloves are no more or no less cleaner than no gloves.  People are going to touch their face and other things with gloves on too so the same germs on bare hands will be on the gloves touching everything.     Some people feel that since they were wearing gloves, they don't need to wash their hands.  Bottom line is don't touch your face, wash you hands a lot, use sanitizer.

  5. He stated that if you answer yes to if you've been sick within the last 14 days on the medical questionnaire, you need to show a doctor's note to explain what your specific diagnosis is.  Then when you get to the ship, there will be medical professionals to review your diagnosis, notes, and symptoms to decide if it is safe for you to be onboard.

  6. I've found a lot of info about the garden of the groves, in Freeport Bahamas but not about the excursion through Carnival.  I just want to know if anyone went on their own instead of following the tour guide?  We want to follow the tour guide, but may not be able to keep up and don't want to hold the group back.

The Bahamas have made some new rules which now includes all the private islands. No unvaxxed tourists.

I though about that, but we are also going to Freeport and Bimini and they are both normal with excursions and on the port schedule.

Side note....I am curious what they are doing with the >12 yr olds that got an exemption.  I imaging there aren't many.

  8. We are on the Pride at the end of September.  It does not have any excursions listed for HMC and when I look at the port schedule, other days are accounted for except ours.  Has this happened to anyone else?  Just curious if Carnival would be thinking of changing our schedule again.

  9. I just watched the video and I love all the warnings that doing xyz may cause a false negative.  How many people will try to get away with not doing it correctly to get the negative result just to cruise?  I agree this is great, but worry about the dishonest people out there who only want to get the neg result and not a reliable result.

I saw that 'excursion' as well and there is NO WAY it can be worth $400 when you can get 2 chairs and an umbrella for $65.

I'm still trying to find out if you can rent chairs and umbrellas on your own at 360 without having to go through the Carnival excursion.

I found this on trip advisor.  Forgive the highlights, I searched for cruise.

I highly recommend this a must when you exit the cruise ship. There are other beaches on the Island but basically they are abandoned and don’t have any facilities. At Resort Word you have many options. We chose free beach which means we used our own blankets to lay on sand and use the bathrooms. For $25 per person you can rent 2 beach chairs and one umbrella. For $40 each you get a cabana. The cruise was offering a package at $70/pp plus local tax and gratuity for a beach chair and umbrella plus a bottle of water. I recommend you bring cold water from cruise along with sandwiches from the cruise deli. Spend your money on Zephy the bar tenders drinks. Delicious.
  11. When I search for beach 360, it comes up with Resorts World.  From the photo's, it looks like the same cabanas and the same grey and white umbrellas.  I am going to guess it's the same beach.  If it is, this is the site to get photos of it.

Just to make sure you see this... the Carnival Pride is easy. Your Sign and Sail card will have your muster station on the bottom left. It should be a letter and a number. The letter A is the bow of the ship. B is between the 1st and 2nd elevator/stairs, C is between the 2nd and 3rd elevator/stairs. D is the Aft of the ship.

The number tells you the deck you need to be on. If you get A4, it is fourth deck forward which is the main theater. D3 is the other one I am aware of which is the third deck main dining room.

This is great info!  Everyone should know this.

  13. DETAILS

Relax and soak up the sun in your private cabana and enjoy the serene environment with 360° views of the white sand and turquoise waters of Bimini, just steps away from the beachside gourmet restaurant.

    What’s Included:

    • Four cans of soda, four bottles of water and a fruit platter.
    • A welcome drink (Bahama Mama or non-alcoholic beverage).
    • Two beach chairs.
  14. I cant find any good info on the cabanas at beach 360.  Probably because this port is new to many cruisers.  I need a second/third... opinion.  It seems to me that the way it's constructed there is shade, but the sun still comes in.  It is close to the next cabana too.  I love cabanas and the shade.  Is this not worth the $$?  Is there any pros to them besides the drinks? How close is it to the water?  Is the bar/restaurant next to it loud?  Is there shade at 360?

I know to each their own, but I'd love to hear your thought one way or the other not considering the price.

    Soooo many questions!  TIA!
