save your $$$ and eat in the MDR. We had the head chef, 4 waiters and Mgrs. at our table

every nite. Lobster nite they brought a tray with 8 to 10 tails for us. We loved it. Service and food

was 5 star plus every nite. Had the same waiters and steward for both Harmony cruises!

We go to Kobe's in Tampa and spend 80 bucks for steak, lobster and the full meal for 4,

before tips of course. Who wants to spend hundreds of dollars after you have already

paid to eat? The speciality restaurant thing is out of hand, used to be 25$ pp extra pp, now

its full retail. so sad. Steak at Shula's and Ruth Chris steakhouse is 4x better at about the same price. Ps= Captain Johnny Makes me look normal... 🙂

We are going on Rhapsody for 2-  7 niters soon out of Tampa 2x on the Harmony

in sept. and oct. with 6,500 guests we will not miss at all.... 🙂 had fun too many people.

Why does RCCL call them WOW bands?

 

Every body says WOW, this is crazy! When they look at their portfolio with kids in a quad...at the end of the cruise.

 

Bend over, Rccl is a leader at "added'service fees" behind Ncl which is #1.

Take the water taxi, buy booze for 10 bucks for absolute, Kenny the island man will

 

bring you ice and mixers for $5. water ski was great.  or rent a taxi to orient beach,

pedro's beach bar. 

about $15 bucks each way.

you can watch 5,000 horny fat tourists gawking at naked europeans, its

so awkward! it is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world with lots of great

beach bars. great for snorkeling, sharks, mantas, right off shore near the floating

swim platform at orient beach resort.

Waiters in MDR amazing! Lobster nite they brought trays of xtra Lobster tails for us.

Captain Johnny is Crazy!  Had some bad weather on 10/20 sailing and some shows cancelled. Staff told us people treated them like scum due to the weather, so sad.

I told people: "This wasn't in the brochure!" lol

All the shows wonderful. Saw them multiple times. Grease great Columbus is

Monty Python on a ship... off broadway works for us.

Piano Player on the elevators adds a Key West twist, we put a 10'er in his tip hat...

Water show is amazing!!!!! Flowrider awesome. Food great

If you are bored on this boat dig a hole and jump in, jerks.

My son who has trisomy 21 won the belly flop contest and was adopted by the entire ship.

We could not do everything offered in two weeks.

DO NOT MISS THE QUEST FRIDAY NITE LATE>>> LOTS OF NAYKID PEOPLE!

I could not sleep as I was very upset (traumatized). I found my wife and

son

in the Money Maker at 2:30 and told them what happened.

We were on The Largest Ship in the World in 1990, the rcl Sovereign

of the Seas in 1990. 

Carol Lawrence  popped in, also the Amazing Kreskin who picked 6 watches on his way in, and the headliner, who we met getting on the ship  around 8 pm in Puerto Rico with

tons of Louis suitcases. Jerry  Lewis...... Laaaady! It was a great cruise.

We have our door tricked out for Halloween, with witches, dracula, ghosts, and so

forth.

Someone left their lunch and dinner on the carpet in front of our room.

The last time I tossed my cookies was at Florida State (Strawberry Boones Farm)

in 1973.

My wife and kids were at the white hot party, and I was almost asleep when the

door was loudly banged on, I have a broken back and told them I was coming.

They said they had to search my room, and asked if I was travelling alone, even though

there were beds set up for 4 with stuffed animals. I said, please come on  in and offered them chocolates.

No apology amid multiple requests the next day. Close your door and stay in your room!

Thanks guys, Captain Johnny would be proud to hear about this...

On a more positive note, Our special son got 4.99999999 out of 5

and was adopted by the ship in the belly flop contest. I'll try to get the video

up, it will

brighten your day! Do not miss the quest on friday nite at 11pm, that's where I was

before coming back to our room around 12:30 am....

Tatiana told us we needed 2500 points> ie: x $5 per point on one cruise for

the complimentary offer, and we should read the fine print. She is the casino

hostess, and that again is what she told my wife. We did not get a free cruise.

We were on the Harmony 9/22. We were told by Club Royale we only needed 200 pts.

for free drinks and a free cruise. We met beautiful Tatiana and she told us our 2300

pts. expired the end of March. We were realllly pissed off. 

We gambled and lost having 1100 points on this cruise. Took a week back to Tampa

and jumped back on 10./6. Same great waiters and room steward. 🙂

We earned 2500 points and asked Tatiana about our "Free"

 cruise.

She told us we should read the fine print as it is only given if you spend 12,500

gambling on one cruise. Thanks for all the Bullshit advertising.  Two cruises in 3 weeks and we do not get our cruise they push allllll week?  My wife stayed in the casino  late every night as we were still mad about them taking our earlier 2300 Pts.  As platinum

members we also very much enjoyed RCL giving us a coupon for one "bogo" offer for a glass of wine.

 How can they afford to give away a free glass of wine??

We also got "Swatted" by someone who called 911 on us at 1:30 am on the last formal night with

half a dozen rapid response security that treated me like a dog. I repeatedly

asked for an apology from the head of security and was ignored even after

4 or five calls and contacting floor security. We spent 10k for these two cruises,

tipped staff profusely, passed out 60 lbs. of chocolates to our cruise staff,

and still want what happened at 1:30 AM  at our cabin door to be addressed. Two guys in silk suits with body cams, four more men with their game faces on, I was shocked and traumatized.

CLOSE YOUR DOOR AND STAY IN YOUR ROOM is the last thing I heard from

the RCCL emergency SWAT team... 😞  I am upset and very sad.

Their response was uncalled for, Period.

Cruises are for newlyweds and nearly deads...

 

We had a ghost in our room on the ncl spirit, as other rooms near us were as well. deck 12.

 

We had a room down the hall and they were freaking out, but were glad to know we had

 

Casper also.

 

We mentioned this to a ships officer and he said that is why they call

 

the ship the Spirit. 😎 not trying to convince anyone at all. When you see a ghost

 

and other experiences you will know it. Boo!

go to youtube. punch in pier runners and missed the ship.

when we are in cozumel it is a sporting event to watch all

the drunks running and the captain sitting on his horn

like a cabbie in  nyc. it seems it is happening more and more

with self absorbed cruisers...

What? We go to bed when the sun is coming up everyday... really.

I became infamous when a lifeguard at Castaway Cay told me:

One of the guests crashed the crew Barbie party last nite at 3am,

I wanna party with that dude...

 I said that would be me.

  Everyone dressed up like Barbie> Everyone. Really wild , even for me. (shh)

Crashing crew bars is also fun now and then, I say I'm with the band.

I advise to get one of the rooms on the 8 floors on the ship with only cabins,

Boardwalk cabins speak for themselves one would think.
