  1. Hello fellow CC'ers,

I want to let you know that NCL is offering $199pp Balcony, one freebie,

7 day cruises in Sept including all port fees and taxes.

Two people balcony, w/booze, or food $420 Total.

Please check out our post to share these fares with you at:

    NCL Super Offer by eddeb.

We are on the Bliss soon and can't do these great offers.

    Hawaii $199pp 7 days? Wow.

I have posted the cruise item numbers, hope you can find the link as

these will not last more than a day or two at best. This is not a scam.

Love a great deal as we donate daily to the casino...:D

    Take care,

  2. Story time> We went on the Pirate ship adventure in St. Lucia.

We brought eye patches swords scarfs etc. for the crew. fun time!

Free 4 ounce cups of Rum Punch and Rum and cokes.

One guy lost his pants totally (naykid) and a Grandma had to be carried off

when we got back. Someone said she had 3 dozen punches. Watching all

the drunks come running as the ship pulls away is always a fun thing to do as you leave port in Cozumel> check it out on youtube> drunks missing ships, etc. While the Captain sits on the Horn... :D

Happens everyday. I am sure staff would refund your dinner or re-schedule

another dining experience for you if you let them know what happened.

Let's see> Unlimited drinking? What could happen?

    It's always 5 O'clock on the ship.

  3. Thanks so much 3traveler.

We are cruising Dec. 1st, hopefully he'll be back by then.

He used to wear a mask and do a little show with a cape.

A person of ill refute stole his cape so we went to party city

and sent him a replacement cape. When I asked him for a top

shelf Long Island, he asked: "you want me make you drunk?"

It took me 30 minutes to finish the drink with two ice refills. :D

    Bong rules!

  4. We know the awesome bartender Chocolate cowboy from the getaway, but does anybody know if

Bong is still on the Bliss? He was really good to our family and we'd love to

see him again. We had read a post saying he was in the Mojito Bar...any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

  5. :confused:Hello cafe du monde,

Makes me hungry just to think about that.

When we went on Oasis and Mariner, Johnny Rockets was NC.

Now it is ala carte, so you are very correct. Very reasonable prices tho.

If JB's was ala carte it might not be so empty as CCer's have posted.

Not a big deal, just think its a little stupid for NCL corporate leaders.

Hope Jimmy helps out in 2020 as he did for Hillary at a free concert

in St, Petersburg in 2016. She won by 3.5 million votes. (all bused in of course)

    Thanks so much Jimbo.

United We Stand, Divided We Fall.

I'm a son of a son of a sailor and we used to live in a trailer...

Why don't we go on a cruise and (dot dot dot) as in Mama Mia. :D

Hope you all have a great cruise folks!

  6. Hello again fellow CCer's,

As the original post we made, we just noticed the laser price increase on the NCL

site, as we were making all our show and dinner ressies before they are sold out

    as previous posters have warned.

We put a post from Bloomberg News that confirms that NCL is the leader in

ASC than other lines. (Added Service Charges).

We have watched the ASC's go up weekly on the Bliss, and as they are still

rising from week to week, we are just relaying the info for our fellow CCer's.

Other than the Laser Tag, Carts now $29 pp all day pass. $99 for unlimited.

According to our long time friend and NCL rep, Jorge Cruz, they only have

40 spots available for this and told me to board the ship ASAP to make the

ressies. I do not think that will happen. I have a special needs son who races

at Malibu here in Tampa all the time. He passes almost everyone and never has

had a wreck. If he can not race we will have spent

our $4k for a six day cruise (before all nite in the casino), as he will be very

upset and not understand why it is sold out. Please read reviews from CCer's.

Moving on: Many cruise ships have theaters for 2k folks, NCL Bliss 1k for

    4,700 people. ?

Thermal Spa we wanted to get for my wife and daughter.

    Was 189pp then 219pp, now 249pp... plus Andy and Frank's 20%

convenience fee. Oye Vay. Won't be doing that.

Shows booked up, Cavern and Social hold around 125 people. (4,700 guests)

Guy Fieri's and Johnny Rockets are very crowded, but complimentary.

If we take our family for a Burger at JB's it will be $60 plus our ASC.

Love Jimmy Buffet, he threw me his guitar pick here in Tampa years

back at a free Obama for President concert at a stadium near the Hard Rock.

We have seen him in concert since the 70's, back when you couldn't see the

stage at times from all the young Parrot Heads , those were the days.

We are true Buffet fans, but will head to the local for our burgers.:D

Atrium posts advise to get a seat an hour early as with other venues.

Prohibition goes up weekly at this point. No signature White Hot Party.:(

Garden Buffet folks cruising for a seat, many reviews about this.

Please take the time to read all of the reviews before responding to this post,

as what we are informing you of is a group of eye opening comments from

our fellow CCer's. Just booked a 4 dayer out of Tampa for $234 total

plus port charges for two 47" window on RCCL. Yay!

Can't wait to let the Flamers to fire away. United we Stand, Divided we fall.

May your Seas be flat, and your tummies be fat.

I'd rather be a cruzin' than a workin'.

    It's always 5 O'clock on a ship.

  7. We are excited about our cruise in Dec. on the Bliss.

For a new ship many of the reviews are not glowing.

Please take the time to read all of the reviews when you

    have time.

    Common complaints so far:

    Buffet> can't find a seat often.

Laser/Karts sold out by noon for the week. People upset.

Folks with UDP can't get reservations. Restaurants fully booked.

Cavern holds 100 folks, with 4,700 guests on the ship.

Same for the Social comedy club.

    Atrium overcrowded. Noisy.

    All day chair hogs.

Main theatre holds around 1,000 guests, long lines. Guests turned away from shows.

Elevators> two banks facing each other, folks push buttons on both sides,

making for 10 to 20 minute waits. Folks in wheelchairs left out for

all those in a big hurry and cut in front. IE: not enough elevators for

    4,700 guests.

Really hope NCL corporate is listening and works to rectify these

issues by expanding shows/ times etc.

We are looking forward to our cruise in Dec. But one review said:

"NCL used to be Anything you want, when you want... Now it is

Make your reservations ASAP upon boarding for the week and be ready to

stand in long lines...and pay lots of Fees"

As mentioned earlier, please take some time to search current Bliss

reviews and make your own conclusions.

  8. We are staying at the Downtown Hilton, 1 mile from port.

Free parking and one way free shuttle to the port. They offer this

on their website. We are going in Dec. so all hotels have the highest

    rates of the year...

  9. No hidden fees perhaps, but you should know that they seem to be

increasing charges all over the Bliss.

Prohibition was $19pp last week, now $29 plus 20% "convenience"

    fee. that's around $36pp.

Spa was $189, then $199, now $249pp. Next week? Who knows.

    Go karts were $5, then $7, now $9.95. " " " "

Jimmy buffets was complimentary (as is Johnny Rockets and Guy

Fieri's on RCCL and Carnival still are) then went to ala carte,

and now is $15pp plus cnvenience fee.

Teppanyaki was serving filet and lobster tail>

now it is Filet and shrimp.

Many specialty restaurants also are increasing prices.

Room service was free 24/7 now $7.95 convenience fee.

Lobster was in main dining rooms, now replaced with shrimp.

Many venues are small and guests can not get in.

What you should be aware of is these rates are going up weekly, not

quarterly, and by the time you take your cruise these may change

several more times. A recent article which we posted here denotes

that NCL has passengers spending $76pp each day which is $30 more

than RCCL and $40 more than CCL per day on extra charges.(Bloomberg Reports)

We are sure we'll love the Bliss, spending around $4k for deck five

oceanview before getting on the ship...and the Casino?

  10. Blissful News Update. Live travelogue from DadofKad posted this afternoon

that Prohibition is now $29 pp and around $36 pp with 20% added

automatically. For our family that's about $150.

    $240 spa pass. x 4

    $15 pp for a burger. x 4

I can give more examples, but it is hard to do as fees are increasing

    weekly.

Shows and comedy acts selling out the first day... for the week. :')

We are spending just under $4k for 6 days before thee casino folks. Ouch.

    Bring Da Labstah Back!

    NCL is now "FeeStyle"

    I miss FreeStyle...
