  1. The production shows will be the same. The entertainers may be different dependent on their contracts. The highlights should be the ports for your cruises. They most certainly aren't boring. You will most certainly get to know the officers and crew and that's a plus. The menus are on a 14 day rotation. They always start with menu #1 so you will have repeat meals. To break away from menus you can always go the the OV Cafe or book a specialty restaurant.

  2. I have suggested to Celebrity that they monitor social media like this so that they could give an official response to rumors. This was not the policy on Equinox about 3 weeks ago. I was never asked about taking pool towels or told  that I would be charged if I failed to return them them.

She is currently on the Edge.

Her mass of red hair makes her easily recognisable.

She is almost always a panelist on Liars Club.

Until you meet her you can at least listen to her as she is the " voice" in the lifts /elevators on every Celebrity ship.

    She is very special!

There is only one company that I know about that’s ever done that and that is Toyota during the Unintended Acceleration crisis where Akio Toyoda basically admitted the company mistakenly chased sales and strayed from their foundation of quality and gave a 6 point plan to restore customer trust.

But you don’t ever see this from top execs but in Celebrity case, regardless of admission of fault, got it right in the end

Laura kept saying that she and her team's goal is to allow passengers see that value in their vacation with Celebrity. The President of Celebrity has reversed some former policies in that direction.

I am sure every meal they ate was cooked fresh for them unlike the rest of the passengers. I wonder where they ate...the MDR or Luminae because there is a massive difference in food quality between the two venues. I doubt any change for the positive will come from this photo op.

They ate in all the venues and they ordered from the regular menu. I have been assured by one of the waiters that their meals were taken from the regular line.

They need to realize that some of the younger demographic don't have the money.

Or the time. Most younger people tend to work which limits their vacation time. I mentioned this to the President when I saw her on Equinox. I also mentioned to the person of sales that Celebrity should focus on what made them successful in the past.

Where can we see the results of the poll?

.Most polls show the results as votes are cast. The OP will share the results later I guess with interpretation of results. I would like to see the results and draw my on conclusions.

I laughed at her comment that they listen to the customers......

Yes - we want a beach day where it might cost few hundred dollars to have a special chair.

Yes- we want to pay for a steak and lobster in MDR.

Yes - we want warm, not hot food.

Yes - we don't want butler.

Yes - we want pay for cookies.

Yes - we want even more limited beverage variety.

what else do we want? - higher prices, less product

Somebody should have explained to her what made Celebrity preferred line in the past.

What we get is what people are willing to include in their experience. People are booking, especially Suites at what I feel is  to me outrageous prices, but that  being said, Celebrity would be fools(and they're not) to get less than the market will allow. The passengers who continue to book are most responsible for the decline in service and the rising prices. The market determines price!

Viking is the line that I keep looking at and want to try.  I don't like feeling like I'm being nickel and dimed, or having to pay to play.   I want to pay my price and have everything included, without needing to pay more to get to the good venues.  I know it's really all just perspective, but I'd rather pay more for a line with less crowds and better included food, than have to pay an upcharge to eat in a specialty restaurant or have access to the good lounge area.

Food is also very important to me, and I'm not a big fan of buffet eating, so I want included quality sit down / served meals.  Viking's ships and dining therefore appeal to me very much, but I haven't found one with the right itinerary / price to make the leap yet!

I did a TA on Viking Neptune and it was wonderful. IMHO better food than Celebrity. Better speakers than Celebrity. I would rate my recent experiences Crystal, Viking, Celebrity and Oceania. I'm taking a cruise on Oceania Vista in a month, so my ratings might change.

  10. They need to reactivate CelebrityCruiser for treads like this and answer some of the questions and perhaps misinformation.

CelebrityCruiser was the screen name on this board for a Celebrity staff member who reviewed this and other social media platforms to give advice and correct information.

  11. Today I disembarked from Equinox and the new CEO and team from Miami were on the ship. Some shadowed the crew and they wanted to learn the experience of passengers. I had a few conversations with Laura and found her to be charming. I detected a positive shift in corporate culture which is more positive to the passenger. I thanked Laura for returning the Zeniths to the Retreat Lounge and asked several questions which were all answered. Laura truly wants feedback from passengers. There will be changes to the menu in the MDR in November which will be bringing back items that were removed.

Lately they have been collecting seapass cards and then return them at the end of your B2B series.   I think they said they think the passenger may get confused.   I suspect it is more that they think someone may flash one to get something for which they aren't entitled to on a subsequent sailing like a Suite card or Bev Package.

Any way you do get them back.  I have one from every sailing except one where the machine that ding'ed me off the machine ate it and it dropped down inside.

I have been on B2B where you had to ask for them back and twice my request was refused. Had to stop at Guest Relations one time to secure the card.
