  1. And actually from what I remember reading, you don’t make reservations for cavern club. You just show up & people say it gets mobbed, so try to get there very early the night of show.
  2. Can only book those once you’re on the ship, from what I’ve heard.
  3. I wouldn’t rethink The Breakaway. Yes, it does get crowded in places, especially the Atrium, where they hold many games and events. Still don’t know why they hold so many activities there....it’s just not a big enough space with not nearly enough seating for the # of people who want to attend. So that gets a little frustrating, but no reason to skip this ship. There are areas that aren’t crowded, like the Waterfront, which has lots of great seating & a relaxing place to spend time. Also, Spice H2O was really nice and no children allowed there during the day. At night there are so many venues to go to, I never felt that any of them were crazy crowded.
  4. The 3 Meal Specialty Dining Pkg. is currently $118.80. Does anyone know, is that the final price or is there additional tax & gratuity added to that $118.80 once you put it in your cart?
  5. Thank you for posting this as well! The last DoubleUp promotion I received an email about expired Nov. 30th. So I thought I was out of luck.
  6. Dumb question, but can a Cruise Next certificate be used on ANY stateroom category or only Balcony & above?
  7. Loved our port day in Boston on the Anthem last November. And if you can’t get a cab, don’t worry. We were easily able to get an Uber from the port into the city & back again.
  8. So with the end of the Royal IQ App, I’m assuming on the Anthem we can no longer text without VOOM? 🙁 (it was a great glitch where you didn’t have to purchase internet plan, but could still text)
  9. I don’t know if anyone has this, but I saw someone on here post a seating chart of a dining room on one of the RCI ships. Do any of you have a map showing table numbers & where they are located in The Grande dining room on Anthem of the Seas?
  10. Enjoying your review! Thanks for taking the time to do it. We’ve been on the Anthem twice & are going on another 5 nt. Anthem cruise in October. We loved Jamie’s too. I was so full, I couldn’t eat a bite of dessert.
  11. Children do not have to wear pants in mdr. They can wear nice shorts & a polo shirt. When you’re in the mdr you will see all kinds of dress & it’s definitely relaxed for kids. Why bother them with pants when it’s not necessary.
  12. Great start, Noreen! I’ve enjoyed your past reviews too & I grew up in Bergen County, NJ 😊... Northvale. We’re going on the Anthem for the third time in October. It’s such a great ship!
  13. That must be a new option. Back in November Jamie’s wasn’t open for lunch on embarkation day. That’s great, you will avoid the first day Windjammer lunch crowds & Jamie’s is delicious!
  14. Jamie’s & Chops on our Anthem cruise this past Nov., but not on embarkation day.
