Had to laugh when I saw the title of your post...
I thought it was about the cheap Canadian Whiskey brand "Black Velvet" 😛

Also, have a back up box. One of our vials was totally empty.
From what I have been reading this seems to be a fairly common occurrence.
Will they replace that particular test or are you SOL?

Our paperwork said 11:30 but then got a text to arrive at 3:30 instead. We got here at 12pm. We are just now clear from testing and waiting to get our passports checked and checked in.
Thanks... Please try to keep us updated

Thank for taking the time to let everyone know what's what.
So, if Lovey and I go to the covered pool area on deck 14, or the Infinity / Garden pool area on deck 15 and we get our cards scanned and someone that may have been sitting at the other end of the pool tests positive, we will be traced back to them and quarantined?
that would stink...

Hubby would love to cancel however we are travelling with friends and they want to go. We will go, it is only 3 nights so we will be fine.
I hear you, and actually, understand.
We have a cruise set for the Mera in February, for Valentines Day.
No way in heck I want to cancel... Valentines Day on a cruise...yea baby!!!
But, last minute giving you an out with a refund?
Almost like an 11th hour reprieve from the governor.

Interesting that they would offer a refund so close to sailing.
Being that you are in Florida, as am I, if I was offered this, so late in the game, I might seriously consider it.
They may know something?

Can anyone post a copy of this letter?

We did have fun trying to place her accent. My guess is English is a second language, learned from an Aussie, but the rest of her dialect is a mystery.
We were playing the guessing game too!
She mentioned during one show that she was Italian, and I'm sure she said from Rome.
We ran into her a few times and I didn't take notice to what her name-tag had on it.
If she did not mention Rome, I would have never taken her for Italian from her accent...
My guess would have been Brazilian.

I read that Amazon was having hosting problems yesterday, maybe that's it?

Are you using a VPN?
If so perhaps the region is set outside the USA.

We are vaxxed and boosted.
Been on two cruises already, September and November, one on Carnival, and one on the Divina.
MSC's protocols put Carnival to shame.
We have a cruise on the Mera set for February, not a chance we ain't goin! 🤞

Perfect - the Velveeta can also be used on the pizza
"Surprise the whole table when you serve this scrumptious VELVEETA® Spicy Cheeseburger Pizza. This VELVEETA® Spicy Cheeseburger Pizza is a tasty trifecta of your favorite taco, cheeseburger and pizza flavors."
It's gotta be good for you...it has lettuce on it

The buffet stations can be replaced with a wall of microwaves where a delicious selection of Swanson Hungry Man Dinners await

We sailed out of PC last month and no one asked to see any documents at all when we parked on site.
As a matter of fact, we were never asked for any info to park, no matter the cruise line.
Also, as Dex mentioned above, the only thing anyone cared about was out Vax stuff and passports, no one looked at our boarding docs at all.
Welcome to the world of MSC.
When you finally get on the ship and see how beautiful it is and the great service on-board, you will be laughing about the shore-side operations like the rest of us.
Enjoy your cruise!

The direct dial number to the MSC Divina is:
0088 1677100955
This was listed on the front of my cruise card as the "Ship Emergency Telephone" from my recent Divina sailing
It is obviously an international number so not sure how one would dial it.
On edit I found that the code "88" is the Iridium Satellite Network
This link may help with dialing

Since there seems to be a lot of folks who think MSC food does not cater to the American Palette, here is a tongue-in cheek look at the new MSC menu for the American market.
Feel free to add your own.

Campbell's® Chicken and Stars Soup

Twinkies®
May we suggest a nice cold can of Mountain Dew® or Red Bull®

Upgrade room after boarding
in MSC Cruises
Posted
Some more info, please
What date?
What experience did you book originally?
What are you trying to get upgraded too?
Are you looking to get comped or pay?
I'm guessing that if you know your deck, you are at least Fantastica.
If you booked a bit out, you should get a bid offer.
