I'm on your same cruise and even though I have not bid on anything, the 5 bid offers are still being offered to me. I would think that they have not settled all bids yet.

 

Also, the rooms "available" keeps changing from day to day. Yesterday only guaranteed inside cabins were offered; today, balconies were offered. Two days ago, cruise was totally booked. :confused:

I realized today when I was pitching old RC docs, that their insurance still has the 10k of medical coverage and 25K of medical/expatriation coverage thatbit dis back in 2006. Neither number is recommended or adequate. I want a minimum of 50K medical and 100K medivac.

As far as specific mixed drinks, no frozen or blender drinks. You can get usual alcohol plus soda/juice/mixer drinks and stuff like Long Island's, Cosmos, Lemon Drops, Sea Breezes, Madras', Rum Punch, etc.

Any words of wisdom for those of us in the less than 5 years til freedom category? Recently had a family member tell us we shouldn't retire.. ever!

Everyone is different, but weigh your options and do what you want to do, not what someone else thinks you should do. And Freedom is a very good way of putting it! Loving my freedom!😁

I'm going on her in Dec. 2018!!! Can't wait. Wyland, the artist does awesome work. I met him once and have a couple of his art work. I think the front on the ship will show a mother humpback whale pushing her new born up to the surface to get air. It is called "First Breath".

Bermuda is next on my list of ports, however, I'm slightly concerned about these Man'o wars in the water (right up there with barracudas)... Is there a time of year they are more prevalent?

The man of wars are usually easy to spot. It floats on the top of the water and are a blue or purple color. Looks like a blown up balloon. It won't chase you so just don't get by it!!

We were on deck 7 on the promenade for back-out. The elevators were jammed after muster, then we made it to our balcony for Lady Liberty and the bridge as Mrs. S was chilly.
