Where can I get the Binax Now Home tests which are monitored and approved by Princess. This morning I tried Amazon along with CVS and Walgreens and they did not have the approved tests. THANKS

Go to the Princess website, look under Covid and health requirements and there should be a mentioning of the Optum BinaxNOW Antigen test wit a link to take you to the Optum website to purchase.

Per Princess FAQ page when sailing from Canada it is 72 hours from sailing not 3 days

That is true, Princess does state 72 hours from sailing.  But what do they consider sailing.  Would that be boarding time, or actual scheduled sailing time?  In my case we sail out of Quebec City, boarding is on a Saturday, but actual sailing is Sunday afternoon.  So when do I count back the 72 hours?  Thanks.

  3. I'd like clarification on when I need to get my PCR test. I'll be boarding on a Saturday in Quebec City Canada. According to the Princess website, if doing a PCR test, a PCR test within 3 days of cruise. So would the earliest test date be on the Wednesday before?

We're flying to Quebec City on Thursday and spending 2 nights before boarding on Saturday. I don't want to have to worry about finding a place in Quebec City to take a test.  I do plan to purchase and bring the Optum BinaxNOW Antigen Telehealth test and maybe do the day before, but mostly I'd like to have a test in hand before leaving the US on Thursday, and hoping a PCR test taken on Wednesday will be valid, and not expired come Saturday boarding. Looking for verification.

    Thanks

  5. I have a Princess cruise booked for September.  Final payment due in a week.  Rates have dropped.  I've contacted my travel agent to see if I can take advantage of the lower rates.  Agent says Princess tells her that the new lower rate is for new bookings, not existing.  I'm finding this hard to believe.   Is this really a thing, or is my travel agent not really doing a good job.  If she's not doing a good job, what options do I have? I've paid a deposit and my final payment is due soon.  It just seems odd that I can't benefit from lower rates.  Seems to be a disadvantage to book early.  Thanks for your opinions.

  7. We have booked a Princess cruise and want the "Princess Plus" benefits of included Drinks, WiFi and Gratuities.  We have paid our deposit and the "Booking Confirmation - Passenger Copy," balance due reflects the cost of Princess Plus.  However, on the Booking Confirmation letter the Princess Plus is not displayed as a line item.  Instead, it's supposably included in the Cruise fare.  Or so it's supposed to be and that's my concern. I would assume that Princess Plus would be specified on the Booking Confirmation similar to how it displays fare, taxes, and insurance where every charge is specifically listed.  At the bottom of the Booking Confirmation there's a place where it states Gratuities included, but no mention of included Drinks and WiFi.  So this concerns me as to whether we actually will receive the Princess Plus benefits.  I asked our cruise agent and she states that it's okay and due to a glitch in the Princess booking system the Princess Plus or benefits are not stated.

Does this sound right?  For anyone else out there who also has Princess Plus, what does it state on your Booking Confirmation Invoice?

The cruise is not till September, but I'd like to get this confirmed now.

Thanks for your information.  Appreciate your help.

  8. I went to the Princess App and it seemed that I could make my Main Dining Room selection request for what time we wanted to dine.  I didn't think I could do this until payment was made in full, but it permitted me to do so, and the cruise is not till September.  I do have Platinum status, so maybe that's why I'm able to do so, I don't know.  But my question is that it seemed to only allow me to select a time in the Palm Dining Room only.  There are three dining rooms, I am wondering why I can't select one of the others?  Our cabin is a one minute walk from the Island Dining Room, so that would be preferred.  Since it seems that all Princess Main dining is now "Dine My Way", then why can't I select any dining room?  Thanks for your help and information.
