Where do you catch the bus to head to the beach?

Notice from the photo that beaches aren't as deep in the Caribbean as in the States, so all will feel somewhat crowded...only so much space! Calico Jacks area has everything you're looking for..and you don't need a rental car...hop on the bus..$2.50 pp each way! Super easy!
Is the bus hard to find?

On RCCL ships I love to head to the helipad at the front for sail away... it's quiet and the view is amazing (I've seen dolphins swim along the the bow wave a few times out of Port Canaveral and port Everglades).
Poster is on Harmony so therefore you cant sailaway from the helipad. But we do Love to sailaway on the others that offer it from there. 🙂

Anyone have experience in Resort for a Day stays around the Ft Lauderdale area? We have until our 7 pm flight after our cruise. Would like to be on the beach & have a pool. A shower/changing area would be nice also. Or anyone have cheaper beach day ideas for the day? Don't want to be stuck dragging around our luggage all day. Thank you for any suggestions.
Edit: We could drop bags off at FLL airport storage for the day. Where would be a good area to spend the day then?

Thank you. I must be thinking of Indy & Liberty.

No offense to the other call center but I have SO much better "luck" and help with Oregon. I guess I need to up my game so I can get a # and extension to someone who really knows what's going on and goes the extra mile to help out?! I don't know! It's frustrating to know within the first 10-15 seconds of a call it's going to be a waste of time 90% of the time.
TIA for any info...I'm a lowly Prime member fwiw and D+ not that that it matters (or does it?!)
I agree with you. I have reached the Oregon call center before & they were very helpful. Sorry I can't help with a direct number for them. I am in Indiana & I reached them during the week evening for me if that helps at all. Hoping someone can help you but I just wanted to comment that I have had the same experience with them. Good Luck!

Yes. Sailed 6-30 and 7-21 Sky Class on the Allure.
Can you tell me if you can still access the outdoor deck seating area there? Thank you!

Sorry, I know this thread is a little old but wanted to ask about your cabin..1830 on deck 12. Was it noisy? Would you book it again? Trying to decide between 1830 & 1840. Thanks!

I check in my luggage if I can. There is also a place you can check pay to have your bags stored but you have to be back by 5. I get an Uber or Lyft to the beach and hang out there. I have rented a car before, but prefer getting an Uber.
I guess Bags to Go is still at the airport to hold the luggage? Looking for a close beach/area to go to for lunch with a view. Is the mall area close? Not sure where to tell the Uber/Lyft to take us..lol Thanks for any suggestions!

Thanks, I never really connected those two!
I know right? lol Anyways, I guess I need to restate my question..Deck 12 forward, are there access doors to get out to the outside decks? I can't tell by looking at the deck plans. We are thinking about staying in one of the new cabins. Do you know, Bob? Thanks!

Hello PugM0m,
we just came back home from our B2B cruise onboard Freedom of the Seas and I was also interested in those 4 newly added interior cabins on Deck 12 for our next cruises.
Attached you will find links to my videos, I made of each cabin (Freedom of the Seas 1801, 1803 ,1851, 1853):
Freedom of the Seas Interior Stateroom Cabin 1801
Freedom of the Seas Interior Stateroom Cabin 1803
Freedom of the Seas Interior Stateroom Cabin 1851
Freedom of the Seas Interior Stateroom Cabin 1853
I hope those videos will help you a little bit. :-)
Greetings from Germany,
Stefanie

Just want to verify on the 3 free drinks loaded on the sea pass card. Can it only be used during the selective hours or anytime during the day? & at any bar? Just not the MDR & restaurants. Will be on Harmony in Oct & wanted to check for my mother in law who is sailing solo for the 1st time and D. Thank you!

I searched for this but only found info about people putting hammocks on their balconies...
When I was on Empress a few months ago, there were hammocks and other comfy chairs scattered around the top deck. I watched a couple of ship tours on youtube though and it looks like they don't all have them, though?
So my question is, which ships do have hammocks?
I know that the renovated Mariner does.

Here's what works for me..From the front Royal webpage, click on "Already Booked" then "Make a payment" & go in that way. Works every time for me. Mine has also been grayed out. Give it a try. :)
