Flash Forward, Invitation to Dance, Wild Cool and Swingin
Bob, do you know which days would be formal nights on 7 night Alaska?
Thanks!
-
Can anyone tell me which nights are formal nights on this 7 night cruise?
-
Thanks for all the photos & tips from everyone!! Loved traveling along!!
Sorry if this was asked earlier but if you have the drink package how are you able to get a drink if you board early before the rooms are open to get your set sail card?
-
Was there a coupon for D+ for a discount on the delux drink package?
Thank you
Can anyone post a picture of what perks are loaded on their card for Platinum & Diamond? I recall there was usually a paper in the cabin about it??

We're on deck 8 and our water pressure is prefect.
Which cabins are you guys in on deck 8? We have 8711 & 8713 nxt March.
-
What nights are formal nights, do they have a 70s or 80s show like the Allure/Oasis? Thanks!
I have written down day 2 & 5 for formal nights & they do 90's night on Harmony.. Maybe someone on board will confirm this..? :)

Hey, I'm booked in 8311 in February. If no one gets back to you before then I will let you know.
That would be super!! Thank you!!

If God wanted us to see sunrise, He would have scheduled it later in the day.
I just take a picture of sunset over the ocean and tell people it was sunrise......

We have used a couple options when visiting Seattle. We have used the public light rail system and the past few years have been using AJ with SeaTac Towncar Service (206) 697-5577. He is the nicest guy and we have arranged weeks head of time when we wanted him to pick us up etc. right from the pier, hotel or airport. You can easily share a ride with 4 people and luggage. Give him a call and ask for a price or look up http://www.seatactowncar.com He is VERY nice and accommodating! We used him to and from the airport to the pier 91. Have an awesome cruise with whichever way you get there. Tell him Charlene from San Diego says HI !!
Was it easy to find them when you disembarked? Did you have to wait till all the taxis were filled & gone or is there a separate area for other cars besides taxis?
-
Thanks for this, we will be doing the same in a few weeks.
Can you give an update on how the process was when coming back & getting to SeaTac?
Thanks!!

Just off Pier 91 this past Saturday, disembarked at 7:35 AM, there must have been at least 100 taxi's waiting to transport people. Arrived at Sea-Tac 8:10 AM for our 12:15 PM flight. Security wait was 15 minutes, we has TSA Pre-Check, 5 minute wait. Taxi was $48 plus tip.
So is it true that at the port there is only 1 line of transportation to pick up passengers? I guess it would be easier to grab the 1st taxi to the airport if we are in a hurry instead of waiting till the taxis were filled & left to be able to get to our Lyft or Uber? Trying to find the fastest way to get back to the airport after our cruise..

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Murder Mystery dinner on the Alaskian itinerary for Explorer of the Seas. We leave next week and I was hearing mixed on whether or not this was offered???
Its offered on our Alaska cruise on Explorer nxt June. Its listed under the "Entertainment" tab.

I am staying at a Seattle Airport Hotel next week. I use Seattle Express.
Check their website out. They service several hotels in the seatac area.
Seattle Express also offers free shuttle to the local mall. I have not used this service.
The charge for transfer has gone up from $12.00 each way to the pier from the hotel and back to the airport or hotel to $15.00 each.
We are also staying at the airport area..Hampton..Have you used Seattle Express before? Their reviews on line are not very good. I'd love to hear about your experience when you return..
Thank you!

We used Frontier excursions in Skagway and had a blast- did the tour that goes to caribou crossings.
Great views, saw a ton of bears. My 5 and 7 year old daughters absolutely loved it (I took them by myself in this cruise- new baby, didn't want to take the cruise from em)...
Skagway is immediately past Juneau in the pics
Just curious..trying to find the tour you did & am not sure which one it is??

Unless you have business at the airport, most SeaTac hotel shuttles drop you across the street from the terminal at the light rail station. It’s much easier to access from there. Yes, 3 bucks.
Great, Thanks!!

Sometimes fastest and most economical are at odds with each other.
Reminded me an old software project saying, "You can have it done right, done on time or done on budget - pick any two."
Yes sounds about right..lol I just want someone reliable to get me at the time I need. Asking too much? lol
-
After checking..I found that Seattle Express has some very bad reviews, so I will be looking for other options..
-
I checked with Matt at Seattle Express & was told they start at 7am & run every 15 min until 11am from terminal 91. I received an email from him just today.
$ 15.00 per person

That's about right, more like 45 min. to the Westlake light rail station. To get to the Space Needle you need to take the monorail (station in the building above the light rail station) to Seattle Center, another couple of bucks and 10 min.
Thank you for the information!! :)
