My husband loaded it onto both our android phones a few weeks ago & we tested it the other day just to get use to it.

It's slightly different but not difficult to use. We tried texting, sending audio clips to each other & using it for video calls without any problems.

I'll be happy to be using it for a text messages on the ship that has an audible tone when received.

    Good to know.

I have L108 on Sky booked next

We have never been on the forward, always aft, and love that.  We are 50 days in vista suite on sky deck!  Wondering about the movement.  I usually have no problem in the back and stay in sanctuary usually, but now am wondering!!!

  3. We are booked next year Jan/Feb for 50 days and are worried about the B2B testing and if we would have to leave after just one cruise!  Taking 2 days to drive and staying ahead to get tested, etc. very stressful.  We understand. It is just like the stock market, some are younger and can ride it out long term and some older and decide to put things into a safer area.  Wish I wasn't such an A type person, but lots of stuff packed for 50 days!

I think Sky and Enchanted are similar in that area per the deck plans.

Take a look at this photo of Sky.   L110 appears to be the balcony my red arrow indicates.
Metal not glass, so somewhat obstructed.

Thank you for that pic of our balcony!!!! on sky deck!!!  Counting down 11 months to go

I bought an extra strength version of these for upcoming cruise (for up to 100 lbs) to hang purses, jackets & hats (& maybe laundry).  The box they came in had a label stuck on it that said "magnetic - do not ship air"   Should I be concerned about packing these for air travel?  Most airlines allows magnets (like kitchen style etc) but these are much stronger that those. I don't want any TSA hassle but I also want something that won't fall off the wall when I hang something on it.  Any experience with this?

I just bought those last night!  I figure I can run a line across the room.  It seems the white clothes get very dingy from Princess washing them.

I plan to try a "Live" from the Enchanted.  I've never done that before, so it could be interesting.  I guess I can do it from my cell phone and not bother with a laptop.  I'd prefer laptop for typing purposes though.  Question is...with free Wi-Fi can I use both devices?

I am not sure.  I just got an Iphone this summer as we were supposed to cruise in January 2022, but didn't.  I still have to learn how to use the darn thing.  I will have to search for youtube videos on Princess medallion and the phone.!  LOL

What cruise are you on?  We are doing 10 day Southern Caribbean on the Enchanted departing FLL on 8 January.  Very Excited because we have never been to 4 of the ports.

We were going to do January 8, but it would be too early for me to get everything ready for end of the year, etc. plus we are driving, so two days of driving and didn't know if we had to stay longer due to covid testing, hoping that is a thing of the past.  So, we are doing the trip after yours, which is the 18th.  Please post and let us know how everything is on the ship when you go.  I wish you a wonderful cruise!

I would venture to say once Omicron dissipates (and it seems to be burning through the population now) that it will be treated like any other virus.  There will be no need to test at all.  And unless they ask in the future for your flu vaccine they probably get rid of that requirement too.  I am hoping when we cruise next January that there is no test needed, and no mask needed.  At that point, we can start worrying about Noro or pads of butter or how people are dressed on the Formal nights!!

WHOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!  I am so excited! We are cruising next January and that would make me so happy!!

  9. What about a Royal Tier?  Maybe an OBC based on how much your current sailing costs?  Or a discount on sailings, a percentage? Or a bottle of champagne in the room, something little to just show that they acknowledge you for your loyalty to make you feel special.

Was there at least one bar open early in the morning. My husband wants Bailys for his coffee & doesn't want to order it. He prefers to add it himself.

Some of those food pictures look like appetizer size portions.

I guess we'll have to order accordingly. 😉

My friend was on with us last time we cruised and she likes Baileys in her coffee too.  She said that you can ask for it to be added at the paying coffee bar.  If paying it was $1 for a shot of Baileys to the coffee.

    Continuing

The Lotus Spa was my daily (almost,) visit. Their Enclave is a wonderful experience. We paid $15/pp per day and we could come and go as we please. I probably spent close to eight total hours in there.

I didn't take any pictures in there, but this video shows the layout. The thermal pool is a real treat. Powerful water pounding on your shoulders and back, a place to lounge in the back while the bubbles come up around you, a warm rain shower in the center, and two little "cubbies," where you can stand and just let the bubbles come up. Heavenly.

There are four showers to rinse off both before and after the pool. There are three saunas and 12 heated stone loungers. (My favorite.)

I used a towel as a lumbar support and another as a pillow. I fell asleep twice; it's so completely relaxing.

A couple of times, a few passengers who didn't get the "relax here," memo, were screaming at each other. It's hard to reach your inner Zen with screaming around you. When I went to tell the front desk, there was already a fellow passenger complaining about the issue, so I wasn't alone.

We always get a massage on a cruise. Yes, they are more pricey than what we can get at home. It's hard to put a price tag on a massage like this, though. At home, when we get home from a massage, all the stresses are still there. On the ship, we can go back to the room, take a nap, knowing when we wake up, we'll still be able to relax.

We got two on this cruise; the best we've ever had. We also did a pedi, which was wonderful.

The locker room is a nice place to be. There are over 50 lockers, which open with a waterproof wristband. There are toilets and showers as well. I opted to shower there, after the Enclave, and didn't have to shower in the cabin several times. The showers in the spa locker rooms are HUGE.

Loving the review!  How deep is the water in the Enclave?  I can't swim.  Also is it always packed?  Is it open 24 hours?

So glad you posted the french restaurant info about the filet!  I am allergic to shellfish and that will be a great option!

Not me.  I’ve read the side effects and it is very scary.  It’s for the highest risk people like unvaccinated or immuno-compromised people, having the worst possible outcomes severe disease or death.  That wouldn’t apply for cruise ships, as we are mostly or all vaccinated.

Anyway, not a subject we should debate on CC.

    Best thing is the vaccination.

    I’m done.

Thanks for that update.  That's why I like CC all the information.
