Wonder where the Concierge Lounge will go?
Part of the new deck 17.

Any Information about the Oasis MDR getting divided up into multiple restaurants to make way for Dynamic Dining?
Each floor will be a different restaurant. American Icon, Grande, and Silk. The restaurants will operate in the standard dining format with the new theming until March when Dynamic will go live on Oasis.

Here is a sneak peek of a flying routine from Starwater!

Question.. how do these shows compare in terms of quality to what you'd see on Broadway? Or if not Broadway, comparison the same shows that go on tour to other cities?
I would say they are about the same as national tours, not quite broadway quality but very close!
-
That is very incorrect. I know some of the cast and I have even seen some rehearsal photos. Mamma Mia will most definitely be on the Quantum.
-
The water show is 90 minutes. Yes you will be hearing the show until after midnight. But this only on 2 nights.
No that is incorrect. The night aqua show "Oceanaria" is around 45-55 minutes and the daytime show "Let you entertain me" is around 30 min.

Anyone sailed with Jeff Aprin? How is he?

I think Spectrum should have been Q3 as it has the same 'um" ending as its sisters. Quantum, Anthem, and Spectrum seem like they belong together.

Any preferences on what floor to book an interior room on Oasis?
My husband prefers them because they are so dark and he can sleep all day if he wants to lol
I personally don't care - i'd rather be out and about
I would recommend Deck 7 forward. It is above the spa so no sound issues, one deck down from Central Park and only 2 decks above the Promenade. Good location.

Can anyone post any photos of a standard Oceanview Panoramic on the Navigator. All I can find photos of is the family suites. If anyone stayed in these, how did you like them? Thanks
-
Very disappointed. I was lead to believe it was Mama Mia. Guess that's just on Quantum.
How were you lead to believe it was Mamma Mia? Royal Caribbean very rarely recreates shows on new ships.

Once Upon a Time is on the Freedom and the Independence. The show Happily Ever After was on the Liberty, but it is not anymore since it received Saturday Night Fever.

There have been a couple of tweets naming 'We will rock you' as the show on the Anthem. Has anyone seen this anywhere else?

Totally can see this happening. It is a jukebox musical using the music of Queen, set in a futuristic world. It is a very fun show. Super popular in the West End, where this ship will spend the summers. That would be a great choice for Anthem!

MagicBands started out as optional at Disney. Then they did away with the Key To The World Card altogether. Now you have to have MagicBands. How long will the bands be optional at Royal?
That's not true. The bands are now the default, but you can still beg a RFID card upon request.

Yes. It's the teen lounge.

Also, the Sunshine really only has 1 large pool and 1 small pool. The Independence has 1 kids pool and water park area, 2 main large pools, and 1 large adult pool.
-
The Independence would certainly be worth the extra 100 dollars to me. The Freedom class is one of my favorites.

I know from other posts that RoA is not recommended for kids due to language and simulated sex. That said unless it is violent I am not too worried and I don’t think a 5 year old will notice the language or simulated sex and she loves Broadway shows so I am inclined to bring her. Would she be allowed entry?
They will stop you at the door, but if you say you know the warnings and stuff they will let them in. I think you have to sit towards the back.

On the Magic there is also a character breakfast that is free, the cabins are slightly larger, and I prefer the layout of the pools.
-
I'm sorry, but even on Royal and Norwegian there are only 2-4 main big production shows on a seven day cruise.
-
I have been on the Allure & Oasis and have really enjoyed most of the shows. Those were my first 2 cruises.
I have a cruise booked for Dec 14 for my sister, niece and daughter on Freedom Eastern. Are the shows on Freedom comparable to Oasis/Allure?
Thanks
Sue
They are very good, but not as good as Oasis. If you were to give Oasis a 10/10 for shows, I would give Freedom and 8/10.
-
You can only prebook one online, but once you are on the ship you can go to monitors and book as many as you would like. I think we went to about 10 shows of Second City on our last Breakaway cruise.
-
Cats will be onboard starting with the first sailing after drydock in October.

Ken is my least favorite cruise director I have ever had in my life. He is super cocky and what really bothers me is that almost all of his humor comes at the expense of others. Im sure he is a great and nice guy, but his cruise director persona is arrogant.
Oasis dry dock. Fresh from the press!

Maybe the upper level stays as the lounge and the lower level becomes the restaurant or vice versa.
