We got off the day you got on. The Breeze is awesome!

We booked the 2/27 cruise when we were onboard a couple weeks ago. I also liked the 1/30 itinerary better, but that date doesn't work for me work-wise.

I think we will book the Vista in Feb of 2017 - it has the same itinerary as the 1/30.

Either way, you cant go wrong with the Breeze. I'd take almost any itinerary on her!!

I have booked ES 4 times and never had a price drop...until today. We booked a inside lido cabin on the Breeze (2/28/15) a couple months ago. I was not expecting any price drops due to there not being many lido cabins left.

In the past I have checked but our rate has never gone down, so I was not even really up to date on the terms and conditions. This morning when I checked, our price went down 400.00! Since I had never filled out a price drop claim I was a bit apprehensive. Then when I started reading through this post I was even more concerned that somehow it would mess up my cabin selection.

Carnival responded to my claim in less than an hour. We even got 50.00 OBC that I was not expecting. What an unexpected blessing. I am one very happy cruiser!

2 weeks ago we flew into FLL and cruised out of POM. We flew in the day before and used Jiffy Jeff to pick up our party of 5 and take us to our hotel, the intercontinental , in downtown Miami. That way it was only a 10.00 cab ride to the port the next morning.

Jiffy Jeff had a good rate and was very prompt picking us up at the Fll airport.

I was on the FOTS in 2011 and just got off the liberty last week. I do prefer Carnival.

Liberty also has an adults pool - aft. It is in the same area as the 24hr pizza so there will be kids around but not in the pool. Still that area is still much quieter than the main lido deck pool.

Liberty also has an adults only area (with hot tub but not pool) where you can relax.

Overall I have to say that I found FOTS to be a more attractive ship as far as the commons areas. The entertainment is better on the freedom too.

Carnival wins on the buffet and the MDR is about equal. Guys Burgers beat Johnny Rockets and it doesn't have an upcharge.

That being said, I definitely think you should give the Liberty a try. I had an amazing time last week. You may find you prefer the Freedom or you may prefer the Liberty but either way you are sure to have a great cruise

My family and I got off the Liberty one week ago today. It's hard to believe so much changed in 1 week!

We did not notice the crew to be any more tired/unhappy than any other cruise we have been on. We also did not notice a difference in the quality of food on this cruise compared with our cruises on the Freedom the last 2 years.

I guess it's what you make of it. If you were expecting to be let down, it sounds like you got exactly that. I can understand that if the cabins had a lot of noise it would be frustrating, but it sounds like you received compensation for that issue. We had a cabin deck 8 forward and it was great.

I would definitely recommend the Liberty to anyone.

Wrigley80's review of the Sunshine has about convinced me to book her for next Feb. I also like lovestocruise19's reviews because they are upbeat and down to earth.

I board the Liberty in only 3 days!! Can't wait! I'm sure we will have a great time :D

Shanet60, what was the tender process like at HMC? I have never tendered on CCL.

Some say you have to get a tender ticket and others say they have never got a tender ticket.

How long of a wait was it to get on the tender. Were people up early to wait in line. I would have loved to get FTTF but by the time I booked it was sold out. I keep checking though!

Can't wait for your review. 1 week from right now we will be on her. 2nd time on the Liberty, but first since the 2.0 upgrades.

After cruising the last 4 years, it looks like we'll be taking a break this year:mad: I knew you would be doing a review and was looking forward to it!
