    Dining Options

    This morning I noticed that the option to see some of the sample menus from Umi Uma and a few other dining options has been removed. I wonder if they are working on this to include menus from all options?
  3. In the past, we have stayed in 8034 many times. It is right above that deck exit door. The only times that we have experienced a noise problem is when the self-closing device on the door gets out of adjustment and then the door will close with a loud bang. A quick call to the front desk results in the door being re-adjusted quickly. Other than that it is a very convenient location If the weather is nice and the seas are calm the door is used frequently by those that enjoy walking the deck for exercise.

  5. This is very strange. We’ve been trying to find this on our IPad, and the sign in link is not there. We just went to the desk top, and it IS there…. hopefully, they’ll fix this glitch!

  9. There are actually two prices for the Aquamarine (and other staterooms) listed on the Crystal website. The price for Aquamarine penthouses fwd is lower than price for mid to aft penthouses. Although I guess it could be that prices went up after the initial opening, sometimes the people on the phone are inexperienced and don’t get things right. Maybe your TA can check again.
  10. Maybe it’s not a price increase. Is it possible that the new stateroom is in a better location, and is therefore priced higher than your original stateroom?
  11. We just got home from our last cruise. It seemed that everyone wore whatever they were comfortable with. Many women wore dresses. Some women wore long gowns, even on non-formal nights.

  14. We were in the Horizon Suite, deck10 on the Mariner several years ago. We experienced unpleasant, sewer-like smells whenever we were at sea, which forced us to move. Has anyone experienced this lately, as we’re considering booking this type of suite for an upcoming cruise. Any feedback would be appreciated

    Thank you Vince. just checked one invoice and the fees are equal to the up-charge for location. wish we had know about this sooner.

    So why when we deduct the destination fee, our cruise fare drops to what is quoted on the website for the Aquamarine suite?

    Just to clarify on this subject, Reading from our confirmed invoice: The “Cruise Fare” shown on the top portion of our invoice includes the Destination fees. The amount that was charged for the destination fee is noted on the bottom of the invoice. On the Crystal website , the cost for a specific cruise listed as “fares from” Do Not include these fees. The fees vary from cruise to cruise and as of now, are not listed separately on the website. Hope this helps
