  1. When you see the list of excursions "available " (marked in green) and the price for the tour, it should show "Reserve" on the bottom right of each excursion. Only if the cruise is a very long time in the future should you have the problem you are describing. If you have already booked restaurant reservations, the excursions should be available to reserve.
  2. You have our admiration for your attitude!!
  3. While we agree with others who have posted regarding preference for the Classic Aquamarine over the newer versions, there is one aspect of the suite that hasn't been mentioned.......having enjoyed the Classic many time before the bankruptcy , we were disappointed that during the extensive AK refurbishment , these suites were not touched in any way. The carpeting, drapes, chairs, and sofa are quite worn and really need to be replaced . This is still our preferred type of stateroom and hope that Crystal will address this in the near future. Perhaps by your 2025 cruise this will have been addressed.
  4. Thank you for the update. We hope conditions will improve soon. Wishing you a wonderful word cruise!
  5. Just checked the website. It turns out that the information given by Crystal to our TA was correct. There are now two 7 day round trip NY cruises listed for the two week gap between Sept 30 and Oct 14.
  6. Yes, there are single ladies at ballroom dancing. Crystal has “Ambassador Hosts” that dance with the ladies, and also accompany the ladies for dinner.
  7. Thanks Keith It’s a bit frustrating how often Crystal representatives give out wrong information. Hopefully they’ll get their act together soon.
  8. There was dancing before dinner, after dinner, and after the show. It was in the Palm Court, which has a smallish dance floor. On White Night, it was in the Cove area. On occasion, they also had dancing in the Stardust. Most of the ballroom dance music was provided by the Duo. Occasionally, the show band played the dance music. Plenty of dancing, it was great!
  9. Yes. As of 6 weeks ago, a light weight white tote bag was provided.
  10. Just found out from our TA that there are two 7 day cruises, round trip NY. Crystal wasn’t aware that they weren’t listed on the website, and they’ll work on adding them.
  11. Does anyone know why there is no cruise scheduled on Serenity from September 30 to October 14, 2025?
  12. Cannot see a thing! Completely fogged in. Ship’s horn blowing every few minutes.
  13. Hi Roy, Yes, there was a shuttle provided going to Manhattan. It’s been drizzling off and on since yesterday. Just passing by the Statue of Liberty now!
  14. We are leaving at 10 AM this morning, as was posted in the Reflections on the first day of the cruise.
  15. We’re on Serenity right now, and there are 2 scooters in the hallway. We’re on deck 10.
  16. We hope you’ll have a better experience than we did. The first room that they assigned was beyond dirty! We asked for a different room right away. The second room was cleaner, but the “view” was of the building directly across from our window, so we just kept the shabby curtains closed. Maybe things will be better when you go, and they’ll have improved everything. Many people did complain about the transfer to the ship. Hopefully they listened. Either yway, it’s a short time in the hotel, lots of things to see in Rome. And then, your cruise awaits! wishing you a wonderful trip
  17. I just tried to clarify what everyone else is saying. It looks as if you’ve done everything right. You’ve used all your credits, and have received invoices showing those credits applied, so you’re all set! All that’s left now, is to just sit back and look forward to your cruises 😊
  18. If you’ve applied the credits to cruises that you have already booked, then what you get from the bankruptcy will not affect those credits. Even if you have not taken the cruises yet, as long as the credits have been applied to your bookings, you will keep the amounts of those credits. Nothing will be reduced. The only way the credits may be reduced (by amount one receives from Moecker), is if there are any UNUSED credits that have not been applied to any future bookings.
  19. We just got back from cruising aboard the Mariner, which began for us in Rome. We also opted for the Regent hotel program. They used the Westin Excelsior, near the Spanish Steps, which was a convenient location. At one time this hotel was probably very nice. Unfortunately the rooms were in terrible shape. Damaged furniture, stained worn out carpeting, threadbare drapes, and rusted bathroom fixtures, some falling off. Fortunately there were good restaurants within walking distance. the transfer to the port was just as chaotic as described above. There were at least 5 buses used that we had to wait for to return from the port which is about 90 minutes away. Needless to say we boarded an hour later than our scheduled time.
  20. At the risk of being “completely flamed…..” your post sounds incredibly insensitive and opinionated. I doubt that people with difficulties pick their situation. It happens. Maybe it would be more kind to show compassion for their situation, instead of preaching about what they should do or how to plan You may handle things differently than others, but that doesn’t mean that it’s the right way or the only way. just my thoughts, take it or leave it.
  21. We’ve been in one on deck ten. Definitely, there is noise at night, and also in the early am. would not book one of those, unles you don’t mind the noise of carts being wheeled in, and lounges being moved around…
  22. If you mean a line in the shower for hanging clothes, then yes, there is a line.
  23. In reviewing our bookings, it seems that the only fare difference for a specific room type was whether the suite is fwd (the lower fare) or mid/aft which is the higher fare, not which deck the room is on.....all fares include port fees etc.
