If they have the ingredients I'm sure it is not a problem. But don't expect exotic ingredients like wheat grass or protein powder.

Most places will take your atm card. You can get euros at any atm over there.You can get euros at your local bank if you want to have some in hand. Wouldn't buy them on the ship due to poor exchange rate.

I can't speak for the Island, but we did take the Coral partial transit last year. The ship is terrific. We loved it. Great ship, great entertainment, great food. The best of 36 cruises. I believe the Island has been altered to add more cabins. The Coral was scheduled to get the same treatment but that was cancelled due to negative reception of the changes. If you take this cruise be sure to attend the enrichment lectures. They add to the experience.

They do not sell it on the ships. The do sell it in ports that are not American. Don't know if you can bring it into the country. Things have changed recently.

Chill! Some folks don't enjoy confrontation. Do you never vent at home after a bad day?

Thru research I know the prices on invicta and citizen watches are better on amazon. Also safer to buy online due to repair/return issues.

If you can afford a cruise, you can afford to give someone who really goes out of their way to make your vacation perfect a little extra. I am sure all of the stewards or waiters or kitchen staff greatly appreciate it.

Agree 100% the $ is not that big of a deal to us. I like to leave the impression that Americans are kind and generous people.

While I seldom have high praise for Carnival, I do have high regard for the children's club. They took excellent care of my grandson and he loved it. They do not allow adults to hang out in the kiddie area. The counselors were terrific.

How does one get a warmed bottle of milk for a baby on the ship? Just curious.

In August on the Breeze the line was horrible in all ports and wound around the entire deck and then down the stairs. With all the complaints I would not be surprised if they started escorting Platinum off as it should be a perk.

Don't think about saving money or losing weight.

As much as I try to think of the good..being on vacation, not in the office, enjoying the ship, I still am a little upset of possibly another sea day. This will be a total of 5 days at sea. We are sailing 10/30.

 

I understand I should have the mindset of being on vacation and the knowing of booking during hurricane season but I can't lie and say that I'm not disappointed.

 

Why name all these alternatives and not choose any of them for any sailings. idk..in my opinion they were maybe too generous in the Cruises that had to alternate an entire itinerary and now they need to make up cost by not subbing ports and/or giving obc and just giving an extra sea day and making us spend more money onboard.

I agree, that does suck. I would much rather be in port, any port. Sea days are boring. But I do get a chance to catch up on my eating and sleeping.

First of all, Princess is a cut above Carnival. In all aspects. The first time we tried Princess we decided that there would be no more Carnival cruises. The Coral is a great ship. Food is terrific. Make sure to try the International Cafe. It is open 24 hours. The pizza is the best at sea. The buffet stays open continuously from 6am to 11 pm. The canal cruise is a fantastic cruise. Each port is terrific. Bring light clothing as it will be hot and humid. Make sure to go to all the port/enrichment lectures. They will enhance your experience. We took this cruise same time last year. We are still talking about it. I see you have a balcony, good choice. Any specific questions you have, I will be glad to try to answer.
