  1. I have always been one of those who applies for my shareholder benefits once I make final payment. Even if it takes them a month or they deny it for any reason I have time to deal with it. I am amazed at reading the boards and several threads that people wait till the last minute to apply why the delay?
  2. Totally get what your saying here but the US dollar is accepted world wide way more easily than our Canadian dollar. It is one of the currencies that all others compare to. Wish we had more influence monetarily but sorry we don't.
  3. Not a big problem in Vancouver but as you get out of big cities it can be a bit of one. Your biggest hit will be on exchange rate. currently $1 us dollar is worth about $1.29 Canadian at a bank and in a store you will be lucky to get $1.25. For many things you would be able to use a credit card -Visa or Mastercard as AMEX and Discover are not accepted by many in Canada. If you are taking a cab and doing a credit card check with the driver first as some will say that their machine 'is broken'.
  4. I live in Canada and what we hear is that they are going to review the decision every 90 days but really unless there is a new variant or a big spike in Covid cases they are not going to continue doing random tests.
  5. I am also a fan of packing cubes for organization, not sure if it enables me to pack more or not but that really doesn't matter. For me it is about the shape of the cube more than the brand. Certain shapes fit better in my various suit cases and give me more flexibilty.
  6. ArrivCan get tied to your passport so when it is scanned or the number punched in border officials can see it, generally they don't need the QR code as it pops up on their screen. so leaving the ship usually passengers are precleared (which is why you have to provide it for boarding) so you should not have to do anything
  7. I have crossed this magic threshold just over a year ago and trying to figure out what is so special about 55? In the part of Canada I am from (British Columbia) we don't have any benefits until 65. So I am curious
  8. So I am traveling with a minor and our always included gave me the classic alcohol and the minor the classic non alcohol. In talking with Celebrity I can change my classic alcohol to a premium non alcohol for free, but I have to pay to upgrade the minors classic non alcohol to a premium one.
